+ Very practical

- none but will get used to windows vista once I have learned the format of usage Tearing my hair out at the moment with that! the older we get change is difficult!!

+ An unbelievable product for the price. This really is a great machine, all aspects of this laptop are better than any machine of similar cost.

+ Brilliant entertainment laptop. Although heavy and large, not really purchased for carrying around so suits the purpose to which it was brought for. Brilliant screen, good sound. All rounder!

- no bad really just webcam posioning is just at place where you open and close so could easily get damaged in my opinion

Large screen. Good machine. Family all like it better than there new one from large supplier.

- Large screen using a little more of the battery life. So don't go to far from power point.

+ Good solid performer,great screen and vista is working ok. Wireless is a real strong point and enjoying using the webcam. Really great value for money.

+ quality seems good, and the toshiba help facility is very good ( it's like a book, so you can brows it to find your answer rather than rely soley on the search facility to find something you might be referring to differently to them)

- battery life seems a bit poor but I've nothing to compare it with.

- It is heavy and keeps crash dumping repeatedly and has also slowed down over the last few weeks - I am not sure what this is due to at the moment. The battery life is not good at all, although the settings have been changed.

+ Excellent all round performance. Not particulary portable with a 17 inch screen but perfect for around the house with a wireless network. Big enough to watch dvds on without too much compromise, I haven't used my desktop computer since buying this.

+ It is very clear and concise and I like the size of the screen and for someone who does not use the machine on a daily basis it is ideal because the price was not over the top

- It is a bit large and obviously cannot be transported easily but this was not my intention I wanted a p/c that I could use and when needed.

+ Excellent value for money. Has all the necessary things for a Home PC. Comes with Pre-installed MS Office evaluation and Google Desktop. Ideal home Laptop. Cannot ask for more.

- The battery life was the only disappointment. It seems to discharge completely in 1 hour.

+ Good looking. Great screen size. Graphics good and speakers good considering its a laptop. Quite fast. Useful having various USB ports on both sides. Webcam works well

- Software - Vista usual problems! In sleep mode it crashes sometimes so I dont use it - usually switch it off. Sometimes i have put it in sleep mode only to find it has used all the power up from the battery (so therefore it is not gone into proper sleep mode). Quite an annoying feature.

- Obviously due to the large screen it is reasonably heavy and bulky but probably less so than other 17" laptops.

- Short battery life and heavy. It's great as a desktop replacement though, as long as you don't want to cart it around, or use it away from the mains for extended periods.

+ Good screen, nice keyboard with number pad. Performs well.

+ The keyboard is full size so is easy to use you don't have to change keys and having a 17" screen it's easy to read.

- The only bad point and this is a personal thing it was preloaded with Windows Vista and I would have prefered Windows XP other than that there are no bad points.
