+ Clear picture, easy set up.

- Guide doesn't allow you to switch to the programme you choose, it just tries to start recording.
If you have a DVD in the machine at startup, it tries to load the DVD even if you just want to watch telly, and you are locked out for a while while the DVD loads.

- Cant seem to record one channel and watch another, I might be wrong about this, maybe I just havn't mastered it yet.

- epg layout not as good as panasonic nor aseasy to access and usenor can the ending time be altered to give an extra few minuets to the rcordingresulting in lost endinds when no signal is broadcast to delay the timer recording end

+ Freeview with lots of channels

- Picture keeps breaking up and if you unplug from the mains, you have to retune the channels all over again which isn't easy
