+ For simple shoot and record this is perfect. It's light, tiny and looks cool. The HD looks pin sharp when playing the vieos back through my HD TV via the (free) HDMI lead provided. Great value for money and if you hadn't have described it as "refurbished" I would never have known it wasn't brand new. It was absolutely mint when it arrived (even the box). Camera stills are sharp and despite the product description, can offer 8mp images (rather than the 5mp advertised) 4GB card will give over 2 hours of 720 HD footage.....more than I need before a download to the PC
- Buttons are a little fiddly but this is a minature machine when all said and done. More options for camera settings would be nice and i don't like the fact that you have to open the screen to turn the thing on or off.

+ Lightweight, convenient and competent, except in low light (which is not unusual)the picture is grainy. Easy to just drag and drop files from camera to hard drive, then clear SD card and use again. No more messing around with mini DV tapes etc. Zoom could be better, image stabiliser has to be manually turned on every time you use it, only for 720p, but over all for the money it is an excellent product.

+ very light, very good quality in good light. Cheap price
- very very poor in low light, even if in a room without the light on during the day the quality is quite poor.

+ Value for money. Fits in your pocket, so great for carrying about. Good results in bright light. Decent accessories provided - HDMI cable, mini-tripod.
- Poor low light performance. Image stabilisation setting has to be reset everytime device turned off. Camera shutter delay.

+ Size and SD card facility
- Comfortable hold postion puts finger in front of lens. Poor quality in low light.
purchased 20 Jun 2009
+ Beautuflly thin, compact and light - will fit easily in any pocket. Two hours plus filming in HD mode on rechargeable battery that lasts for two hours. Delightfully simple and easy to use. Unlike the Flip the Camileo uses SD cards (8Mb = two hours filming), so there is no effective limit on how much video you can take while on holday (you're just limited by the amount of SD card memory you have, and by the battery to two hours filming a day). Comes with case, all necessay leads, and even a mini tripod. Excellent avlue all round..
- Not good in poor light - best results outdoors or in well lit indoor rooms.

+ The camileo s10 produces best filming in good daylight conditions. Picture quality is also very good. The cam has an attractive build, is very small (mobile phone size) & light in the hand. Battery life was better than expected. Can also record at 720hd. The price is also very attractive. The results are very impressive,- all considered.
- Indoor quality drops off rapidly. zoom is limited to 2x at 1080 hd recording. Stability is not available at full hd. Memory is tiny- sd cards needed. No flash for pics. Very fiddly when hooking up to hdtv- better to extract card & upload to computer.

+ light and compact real value for money
- opperation buttons fidley and would have paid more for optical zoom lens
purchased 12 Jun 2009
+ Really Small, easy to set-up, easy to use.
- Exposure adjustment and contrast a bit out. Not the same quality as Panny SD9 but for the price PDG.
purchased 11 Jul 2009
+ Lightweight and compact, so easy to take with you. Easy charging via USB. SD cards rather than built in storage mean you can add capacity or use several cards on a long trip. Files drag and drop to PC when connected by USB. HDMI output and cable included. For the price, performance is good, not excellent, but worth the money.
- Image stabilisation in 720p mode must be switched on every time it's used (you forget). No image stabilisation in 1080 mode. Low light performance poor. Menus clunky - I've managed to 'delete all' instead of deleting a single file. Output via video cable (when not using HDMI) is poor. Lightweight also means materials are a bit plasticky. Photo mode images are not great - plenty of pixels but lens is basic.
purchased 15 Jul 2009
+ For the price it is an amazing camera, lacks a little in terms of some more of the basic features such as image stabilisation when recording in HD or taking a photo but for the price and it's overall size I'm not complaining!
- Could use some more basic functions.
