+ Very Light Weighted and easy to use. Love the pistol shape!
The Image Quality isn't bad. Good colors! Decent Stills.
Acceptable value for money. It could serve your needs if you don't mind the wobble artifacts.

- Image quality: Unfortunately it suffers from the drawbacks of a CMOS sensor: horrible wobble artifacts!
The zoom button is very difficult to use. Bad design here.
Too much plastic, not very robust.

+ Light weight easy to carry. Produces high quality images and good sound quality.Comes with Arcsoft editing sofware which is easy to use.

- As with all such videocams when you are filming in very sunny conditions it is not always possible to see much on the LCD screen

+ Excellent for the price and size. Clear true images, zooming ok with care, optical zoom results very good. Good choice of resolutions etc., including HD. All cables I needed were included for computer, tv, charging, etc. Also mini tripod.Battery life good. Care needed to operate the small buttons, but for the size of cam, acceptable. A bit too big for the shirt/trouser pocket but unobtrusive if worn on the belt with the included pouch, or dangled off the wrist. Instructions to use easily with windows but just as or more easy with a mac as I have. Light included for when required, but haven't needed it yet. Good info on reasonably sized screen. As you can tell I am pleased I chose this cam.

- Seems churlish but buttons a bit small. Can't think of any other shortcomings for this size/price.

- No image stabilisation at max resolution. Image stabiliser causes image frame to move jerkily non a slow pan. Not too robust - plastic tripod socket broke after limited use.
