- standard looking set, doesn't allow you to rename the input sources for the source select menu.

Sound and picture sinc sometimes out - maybe due to Sky HD+ box or HDMI cable supplied with TV.

- No, PIP, EPG could be better, OSD could be better with more features, IR receiver should be mounted at the top and not bottom of screen.

+ Thought this product was excellent value for a 37"lcd with 100HZ. I'm currently viewing it through a standard input and the picture quality is still great! I would definately recomend this to anyone considering buying a new TV.

+ We bought this TV to replace our aging CRT one. We are very pleased with the picture and sound quality and really enjoy watching films in particular on the large screen, I searched around for a replacement for quite a while and found this to be the best spec including 100hz and quality make for the price at Dixons. Very easy to set up too. All in all a very good buy.

+ Great picture with good contrast and auto settings that provide a quality picture without the need to tweak. Nice sleek, glossy design and easy to setup.

- Sound quality is not to the same standard as the picture quality but is passable and in a smallish front room.

+ This was our first flat screen TV - we have always had Toshiba products so when our 15yr old one gave up the ghost (pardon the pun) we had no hesitation in getting another Toshiba. Total satisfied, great sound and picture quality - would recommend without hesitation. Easy to set up - and easy to manage.

- Apart from aerial cable inlet been slightly hidden, non whatsoever.

- Lack of instructions. difficult to tune in sky. also freeserve programmes not all available.

+ this is the only tv that i know of that upscales every input source to near hd quality.the constant volume system saves the need to alter the volume when adverts are shown as they usually have too much volume.the tv has all the input sockets that anyone could ever need.the tv has a good picture even in daylight viewing.an on/off switch is fitted which saves the need to leave the tv. on standbye when not in use.the cabinet is slightly larger than the screen,which makes the tv look better.

+ I have previously owned Toshiba TV's and always found them to have excellent picture and sound quality and this model is no exception.

- I have been unable to set my SKY Remote handset to operate this TV and having to use two separate units is a little inconvenient.

+ Great picture, loads of connections. Nice big (concealed) on-off button on side. As my previous tv was a Toshiba, I expected great quality and value for money, - so far (only had this one two weeks) it has delivered both.

- Illuminated Toshiba logo under the screen - pretty annoying as you can't turn it off. Only other very minor point - side controls are on the right hand side - I'm left handed!

+ GOOD PICTURE QUALITY AND SOUND, GOOD DESIGN

- SLIGHTLY COMPLEX AND SLOW SWITCH ON

+ Appearance, ease of set up and pisture quality - good value for the money.

- Cannot think of any other than the "Toshiba" sign at the front of the television is illuminated when the set is on and this is a little off putting.
