Agree with all the comments about it being slow changing channels. Also a bit slow turning on.

+ extremely easy to set up, we were very impressed with this tv. The image is crystal clear with sky tv, and the menu is easy to use. Resolution plus makes this tv very close to hd quality. ths tv is well worth it and has many good features for a bargain price.

+ I love my new TV. I was able to to set it up myself, tune to freeview, attach sky equipment. I did however need help attaching/tuning it into my DVD player. i have not as yet tried attaching gaming consoles or my PC. Great value

- Sometimes the picture is too big for the screen. For instance if someone is being interviewed and their name shows at the bottom of the screen, this is sometimes cut off, but it doesn't spoil my usual viewing.

+ Overall a very good product.

- Manual supplied does not cover all the control functions. I needed to download the full manual from Toshiba's website to find out how to do more complex operations. The ease of use score could be improved with a better paper manual - especially for those without Internet access.

+ Sound quality is good as far as LCDs go, however I use the Optical Output from the TV Itself to use a surround sound unit a lot of the time. A very handy output! Has all the inputs I need and more, and is easy to select between them. Picture Quality is very good especially from my blu-ray laptop and upscaled Freeview is as good as can be expected.

- A little slow to change between Freeview channels, but I have Sky so don't use it that much anyway.

+ well known brand for a pretty reasonable price, love that you can turn the 'toshiba' illumination on and off, very nifty 'surprise and delight'!

- sound quality not great, also all TVs make noise as they consume energy, but this one seems to have more o a buzz than my LG of the same size, better when the colour and brightness settings are adjusted to be moe vivid, but when the picture is on any other setting and i am watching with the sound down, i am very aware of the hum... maybe i'm just oversensitive, but it does bug me a bit.

- so far the tv has stuck on the av 1 circuit twice and would not respond to the remote control, this could only be cleared by useing the manual controls on the side of the tv to change to av 2 and playing something on that circuit then the remote worked ok and the fault seemed to clear.

+ easy to set up. classy looking TV with the Toshiba logo lite up and the fading grey line on the cabinet, had a good look around the internet before i decided to buy this TV and i haven't been disapponted picture great, sound great,
but no doubt there will be someone out there who will find some fault with the technical side. but if you just want a plug & watch good looking TV this is it. i now watch more TV than i have done in years, got a Virgin+ HD box connected & a new Toshiba DVD Recorder.

+ Does a very good job with SD picture sources. Handles movement well in SD and HD pictures. A good selection of input ports (4*HDMI, VGA, 2*Scart). Lots of advanced options to play with if you want to and simple standard options if you don't.
