Picture quality good, as long as you reduce the amount of backlight to a low level - need to do this as part of picture setup.

- Sound quality could be better. It is not as good as my Toshiba 28" widescreen CRT. The bass is a bit lacking and when boosted it causes vibration of the casing. Also the access to the HDMI connections could be better.

- the only bad point is when you switch on the tv it makes a crackling noise for a few seconds and sometimes
the same noise after a hours or so, which can be annoying when the sound is low and late at night.
