I have a Samsung 32" 1080i HD Ready TV so I bought this TV just for the Xbox 360 and I am not disappointed! With 1080p, the picture quality is superior to the Samsung for HD gaming.
Upon lifting the box I found it to be surprisingly light to carry!
After a little fiddling with the TV's menu settings the picture quality looks excellent. There is a vast amount of settings to choose from, although it can be a bit confusing at first as to what settings do what, but it doesn't take long to get used to them. Colours are nice and deep.
The sound quality is very good, loud and clear with good bass, but not over-powering. Dance music sounds crisp!
There are plenty of connections for various types of equipment, all nicely placed. I will be connecting it to my PC in the near future (it has a 15pin VGA socket) so I will use it as a PC monitor too.
One good thing about this TV is that it has a good old fashioned power switch (on the side) which many HDTVs do not have, so instead of leaving it on stand-by it will turn off completely, saving a little bit of money on the electric bill!
Design wise it looks good. The front panel has a nice piano black finish, the speakers sit below the screen and are not obtrusive and the base stand has a little fixing tab at the back for screwing to the wall so that whatever the TV is sitting on (small shelf system etc) it won't fall off if knocked.
-
When turning on the TV it takes a good 4 or 5 seconds to switch on properly, not a bad thing but it is noticeable.
The menu system could get a bit confusing for some people. You will want to change the default factory settings as they are quite dark but I think this is standard on all HDTVs anyway.

Initially very easy to setup but customising can be time consuming dealing with small indistinct menus - Not good for those without 20/20 eyesight. Very good manual supplied. Picture quality is excellent, both sharpness and pleasing colours, a reward for careful and systematic adjustment to ones tastes. Power off feature avoids leaving TV in standby mode, even then only 0.8 watt would be consumed. Connectivity for additional equipment is plentiful. Full HD circuity already built in. Very good value for money when I compared performance against two other major brands.
-
Although the specification boasts "Surround Sound", unfortunately it is not entirely successful and again careful adjustment is needed to produce an acceptable consistent quality.
Lack of swivel stand facility. Warm up time a trifle slow.

Well designed television with gloss finish would go well in any room. Picture quality is very impressive, especially when in full HD either through a Blu-ray player or Xbox 360. The ON/OFF button on the back is a nice touch. Sound quality is good once set up properly. Overall this is a very good television and for the price I would definately recommend it to anyone thinking of getting a full HD television.
-
Takes quite a while to set up the picture to get the best out of the television and a lot of the features designed to increase the picture quality only seem to hinder it.

Great picture for the money. Good EPG. Quick. Good Remote. Good connectivity (3x HDMI etc). Proper power switch that switches it properly off! Also switch for standby. Good range of picture controls including ability to totally switch off dynamic contrast.
-
I hate dynamic contrast. Every time a scene changes the back light goes up or down it's horrible and most LCD TVs rely on it for the ridiculous contrast ratios the try and con folk with. Luckily you can switch it off or minimise it. Ah much better!

The television has an on/off button, which is a small detail but I hate leaving things on standby. Switch between your av connections is real easy and I thought digital text was slow until I bought this telly. Sound wise it is actually rather good compared to other lcd tellies I have heard. I would recommend this telly to anyone. One major plus is the stand it"s supplied with, it sucks itself to our glass telly stand incredibly well and makes the telly feel safe and secure (there"s wall attachment ties supplied, which I will get around to using!!!).

Easy to setup the picture configuration. Has many options to fine tune the screen images for a TV in this price range. Excellent contrast levels, distinguishes between different blacks very well. The sound quality is very good for a TV of this size and gives a 3D sound experience similar to polyphonic sound modules. Has an independant button to completely turn off the TV which is very unique to 32" HD TV's. 3x HDMI outputs with one on the side. Full HD 1080p...yes 1080p on a 32" TV. 24Hz refresh rates. Work-top stand included and easy to assemble with all equipment needed included in box. Freeview included and has an independant Game mode display good when connecting games consoles such as XBOX 360 and PS3

Easy to set up and good quality picture. More than enough HDMI/Scart and VGA connections.
-
Too many menu options. It can become confusing as to which setting is best for you

Muffled sound. Picture settings were all on max when we got it, took some sorting to get picture we liked.

Ther fact that it has an ON/OFF button, not just a Standby button which most other TVs seem to have.

The two settings for watching normal TV seem to be 'Super Live 1' and 'Wide'.
With Super Live 1 the picture stretches for a few inches each side of the monitor which causes distortion. This is very annoying and if known beforehand would have affected choice of this TV.
With the Wide option any text top and bottom is not completely on view.
