+ It does what it says on the tin. It's very quick to find its position, its small but the screen is large enough. Very Good.

- Battery only lasts 2 hrs, could be a problem if you wanted to use it mainly for walking, which I don't.

+ fantastic value for money, easy to use, easy to follow if inexperienced on motorways, best present I've ever bought any one!

- screen is a little small and it came with no carrier, just the window holder.

+ Helps to get from A to B quicker by telling about turns I'd not know myself. Easy to use. Quick to connect and plan or re-plan the route.

- The screen is not very big and sometimes it is difficult to touch the right button.

+ simple to use, fits into glovebox easily, directions easy to follow and the speed camera warning is great, gives a bit of peace of mind.

- apart from when the suction fails and it falls off the windscreen, i cant think of any other faults for a product at that price.

+ Nice clear screen, voice instructions are clear, precise. I like the way it gives you plenty of advance warning for exit or turn, which lane to be in especially when moving fast on motoray. Instructions are clearer at roundabouts than my old unit. Have used it four times on longish journies and have only lost signal once for few seconds but came back very quick, unlike old unit.

- Cannot say I have found any yet.

+ Never had a SatNav before, but compared this to my friend's TomTom 910. This is the SatNav to have if you just want the basic useful features. There are no extras that you will never use, but it ticks all the important boxes. Accurate, fast mapping. Updates and all the safety camera locations. The volume gets a bit louder as you go faster which is a nice touch.
This is the one for you, if you don't want to pay for features you don't need. it doesn't have bluetooth or MP3 or video.....It's a SatNav!

- Updates via the TomTom website, take ages. but it's the website not the SatNav.
Battery Life when not plugged in is very short, so you need to use the supplied cable for any long journey.
The Instructions are a bit scant, but full details are on the website.

+ Very quick at recalculating when a diversion is in place because of road works.
Warnings of roundabouts and which exit to take are given in good time to get into lane (sometimes before you can see the roundabout!). Our road atlas is never detailed enough to go through a town or city. TomTomOne gave us confidence.

- When travelling to the south of France (avoiding tolls - motorways) it is better to follow the route to ensure it is the most direct. TomTomOne took us through Avignon and from Aix en Provence to Marseille instead of directly to St Tropez.
