Good sized screen, nice compact size fr carrying around, vey easy to mount in the car, nice clear instructions which can be linked to increase if the noise in the car is a problem, eg if you have kids shouting or radio on load. . I liked the advanced lane guidance this was very helpful when navigating complicated junctions.

When using phone via bluetooth connection volume is not load enough.

TOMTOM map share makes this stand out from all other satnav systems. fast route finding, loads of customisable options, standard tomtom layout, compact windscreen mount, music player transmitted direc to car radio.
-
As with most satnav the POI need arent very accurate, however with mapshare this problem is reducing each day by every tomtom user with mapshare updating road changes and poi locations.

Even though the sat nav was charging, it switched itself off. Not handy and safe when you are trying to drive on the motorway and trying to get it switched on again.

RDS Traffic updates are so much better than having to maintain a data connection through your phone at cost and having to have a subscription to Tom Tom Traffic.
New clearer display of motorway junctions is good.
Have not tried it, but now seems to come with an FM transmitter and Ipod integration (think you may need a separate cable for this).
-
Possibly a little costly but doubtless will come down as time goes on.

It's very easy to use without reference to an instruction manual and it does the job of directing you very well. It's useful to be able to set up itineraries or routes in advance. The motorway lane guidance and route selection according to traffic volumes at different times are both very helpful.

Clear to look at, traffic camera warnings are good. Also it reminds you of the speed limit on (most) roads and shows your speed which acts as a good reminder. It's easy to add new destinations and gives you pre-stored destinations (eg locations of petrol stations and cashpoints) which is useful if you are travelling in an area you don't know well.
-
It can be difficult to press the right area on the touchscreen if you are moving (eg as a passenger), but I guess that would apply to all satnav and not just this one.
