+ Better features then last version
- 3 Months trails on speed cameras, fuel prices, traffic reports, and Not fast at processing information.
purchased 08 Jun 2009
+ A well constructed and easy to use product.
- Map inaccuracies still annoying having been directed down a alleyway in Dublin in a car! Numerous points-of-interest inaccurate including railway stations, ports and petrol stations. Directions called at wrong moments causing driver to take the wrong turn too early e.g. turn left is called when the required turn is later than required and often there is another turn before the actual one. Computer updates annoying as safety camera locations are erased or omitted when they worked on a previous version. Computer update often 'wipes' customised settings e.g. favourite locations & safety camera settings requiring the user to re-customise - usually this is only known when driving so is most frustrating to re-customise the unit when on the move - not very safe! Battery life only lasts around 1.5 hrs which is very annoying when most journeys last longer than this.

+ clear instructions and pictures especially at major junctions on motorways etc
- have had 1 instance of out of date info. Wrong exit on a roundabout given and I know that the roundabout has been this way for at least 4 years.

+ LOOKS GOOD,
- DOESN'T GET YOU TO EXCACT DESTINATION. WHEN ENTERING POSTCODE SHOWS LOADS OF ADDRESS'ES .
purchased 28 Jul 2009
+ Really pleased with the unit overall. The new slim design and windscreen holder is a vast improvement on my old Tom Tom Go 300
- Quite a few safety cameras which were not recognised even though I had updated the unit with the latest safety camera software.
purchased 08 Jun 2009
+ Mostly brilliant
- Occasionally takes you a little past your destination, but not more than 100 yards or so.
purchased 08 Jul 2009
+
easy to find most uses
menu system is simple
- 3d/2d views very basic
purchased 05 Jun 2009
+ Very clear and i like the lane guidance, although i wish it would guide you more often, especially for tricky large roundabouts! The screen is very large which is great! Touch screen very responsive. So far, even for very out the way spots it have been very accurate!
- Touch screen sometimes too sensitive when typing in addresses.
purchased 12 Jun 2009
+ clear display
- VERY poor fixing piont
purchased 29 Jun 2009
+ Easy to use easy to follow
- Maps at least two years out of date at time of purchase.
purchased 24 Jul 2009
+ Easy to use, compact size
- none noted
purchased 08 Aug 2009
+ Good software, easy synchronisation, wide view, clear display, multi language, compact design, USB connection.
- No Bluetooth. Old Tomtoms' used to have Bluetooth.
purchased 16 Jun 2009
+ Easy fastening to your windscreen
- More different voice options would be good
purchased 14 Jun 2009
+ Clear and concise. easy to attach to windscreen.
- Didn`t come with carry case.
purchased 23 Jun 2009
+ Tom Tom remembers places yuo have been to so is much quicker to set up for a second trip. If you dont go the way TT plans, it very quickly besets itself. I am a new user and not used very much yet.
- I would like to be able to set more than one speed alert, ie 30 Mph for towns then perhaps 60 and again at 70 . Ithink if these extras were included I would use TT more.
