+ Quite easy to use and good choice of personalised features & map colours. Also love the way you can update frequently from the internet.

- Accuracy in doubt, thinks that when I am at home, my location is in the close over the road and also does not acknowlege there is an address on this road with my house number. Always defaults to the nearest (four doors down the road. I have had to pinpoint the location on the map and store manually for accuracy.

+ Great design and very compact. Was so pleased with it after replacing my first sat nav which was much bulkier than this one. At first I thought it might have been too small but it was just right. If you take a wrong turn off it catches up very quick.

- Not much in the way of bad points really......ive had the occasional time where ive been following routes and in the middle of a road its told me to do a u-turn which is bizarre. Apart from that its great!!

+ The easymount option is a great improvement on the older models and the lane guidance at major junctions is a great help.

- The price of new map downloads are expensive but that is not a fault of the product itself.

+ Easy to use, clear display, great price, Free update to the latest maps when you connect it to the net the first time. Cash back offer at time of purchase.

- Expensive to update the maps, might be better just to wait as long as up can and buy a new one with the latest maps with new technology, No carry case provided

+ small compact and easy to put on screen/dashboard , overall very good.

- lane guidence is a bit of a gimmick as it only shows what lane to get off on a motorway and not those awkward roundabouts/lights in towns. I turned mine off.

+ Detailed zoom in lane display on motorways is an extremely helpful feature.

- The hinge on the back to attach the tom tom to the windscreen is a very poor design with only a VERY thin piece of plastic to open and close the device. However that said, it is the only let down to this sat nav

+ Lovely screen fixing, much improved on the classic. Nice size screen, very clear and love the way it automatically switches to night vision at dusk. Clear voices. Very happy with it.

- It did miss 2 local speed cameras that we knew of anyway, but it also had the road speed showing as higher than it actually is for those areas. Fortunately, we know it well and it is well signposted for those who don't. Not infalliable, I know some quicker routes locally and it doesn't always differentiate between a sharp bend and a corner, but it is better than hubbys classic, which he had bought a year ago. A coiled lead might be better, so that it could squash into a bag without you having to wind the lead round the screen. I have made a soft, padded bag for mine, so it is all held together in my handbag, or in a coat pocket.

+ Plenty of information available. Directions are clear and concise.

- I feel the screen is too small. I found it to easy to accidentally switch off the voice which, when it happened, meant a stop to reset. The adhesion to the windscreen left a lot to be desired.
