+ Size is great, and the back of it sticks on the window without the need to have a separate devise like the old version. I love the lane guides too.

+ Detailed zoom in lane display on motorways is an extremely helpful feature.

- The hinge on the back to attach the tom tom to the windscreen is a very poor design with only a VERY thin piece of plastic to open and close the device. However that said, it is the only let down to this sat nav

+ Lovely screen fixing, much improved on the classic. Nice size screen, very clear and love the way it automatically switches to night vision at dusk. Clear voices. Very happy with it.

- It did miss 2 local speed cameras that we knew of anyway, but it also had the road speed showing as higher than it actually is for those areas. Fortunately, we know it well and it is well signposted for those who don't. Not infalliable, I know some quicker routes locally and it doesn't always differentiate between a sharp bend and a corner, but it is better than hubbys classic, which he had bought a year ago. A coiled lead might be better, so that it could squash into a bag without you having to wind the lead round the screen. I have made a soft, padded bag for mine, so it is all held together in my handbag, or in a coat pocket.

+ Very clear instructions, very clear screen, good size, never used one before but got it right first time, would definatly recommend.

+ very sleek appearance. I like the speeker size means the sound is clearer and louder.

+ Plenty of information available. Directions are clear and concise.

- I feel the screen is too small. I found it to easy to accidentally switch off the voice which, when it happened, meant a stop to reset. The adhesion to the windscreen left a lot to be desired.

- volume not as loud as tom tom 300 and others any advise would be nice

+ Love the small size - easy to fit in a handbag / coat pocket and the fact that the suction pad to fit onto the windscreen is integrated. Screen size no problem (have used the bigger screen and hardly notice the difference).

- Sometimes, a big confused when you waiting for the traffic light or stopping by the trafffic. It keeps saying the second turn but I haven't done the first turn yet.

- I bought a safety cameras extra for a year but am unable to connect the tomtom to the computer i think i need a new lead the computer does not link to the tomtom. Also unable to use mapshare and fuel prices

+ Found this very useful as when used took the direct route to our destination and on the return journey gave us the option of coming bacvk the scenic route.

- Took my husband on a journey in one direction and took him in a totally different way for the return journey. Led him through what was basically farm tracks and woodland edges.
