- Is very loud, and makes some very strange sounds. You can hear the inner workings of the DVD player

+ Small compact and ideal for kids or to put in the spare rooms, mthis wouldn't be my choice for the main room but if your on a budget, this is the one for you.

+ The item has everything you need. Comes with a remote (no batteries) and tuned in quickly. The size made it perfect for sitting on the shelf in the bedroom as it was so compact. Perfect.

- No batteries for remote or scart lead but what do you expect for the money.

- Struggled to get the remote control to do what it said in the book. Pressing play on remote took me out of dvd and back to tv. Eventually did it manually!

+ I have installed this unit in a property I use for holiday letting and it's simplicity is a plus factor for this use.

- Due to my instalation I would have prefered a shallower unit to fit in a housing used for the digibox.

- No visual display (I.E nothing to tell you that a DVD is playing or not or how far into the DVD you are, the only lights there is on it is the green one to tell you the power is on and the red light to tell you the machine is off)
