+ This is the best coffee maker I have purchased. The metal jug means that you dont have to worry when washing it that it may break and the size is good as you can wash the inside of the jug out thoroughly. The coffee is nice and hot and it does not drip on the hotplate when you take the jug off the machine. Overall very good.
- The only bad point is that if you are brewing enough for one mug only the water level is too low to be seen.

unbreakable jug,

You can use a normal paper filter with it if, like me, you hate the fine black deposit you get at the bottom of the cup with all permanent filters. It polishes up beautifully. The coffee stays HOT, not just vaguely warm and best of all is the METAL jug which is virtually unbreakable, even by my family.
This is actually the second one I have bought. The first was used every day and lasted more than 2 years. I could not find a better one so I bought the same model again.

The water level indicator and the larger filling are are on the right side at the back which I find awkward to use.
This is not necessarily a disadvantage to most people.

+ I'm really impressed with this coffee maker. It's great value for money! It may not be the most stylish coffee maker on the market, but for the money it's great. The only slight downside is that you have to be careful to slot the plastic into place when making the coffee or water can build up inside and spill out. The metal carafe is fantastic as it means its easier to clean than it's glass counterparts. A reall thumbs up from me!

+ Simple and basic - I don't need timers and different strengths etc. Cheap. I had an identical one that lastest for years.
- I would prefer a glass jug. An automatic switch off might be useful as I am obsessed with thethought of leaving the machine on, empty, when I go out.
