+ Easy to use and clean. Can enjoy many of your favourite foods cooked with little or no oil and no greasy smells. Excellent for sausages and roasted vegetables. Chips not quite as good as deep fried but better than in the oven. I bought this because my son loves chips and it seemed like a healthier option. Have also used it to cook other things. I like its convenience - you can pop the food in and get on with other things without having to turn or mix.

- Only negative that I have noticed so far is that if you have a lot of people to cook for the capacity is not adequate. Only a problem if you're entertaining or have a large family to feed.

- now on third machine. Machine one - the clips that held the lid shut broke off, first one side then the other.
Machine two started getting noisy over a period of a few weeks and then there was a fllash and a bang.

- cost is to high other wise a a very good buy.

+ I say that the actifryer is a good product to use in that when i cook potato wedges or sausages it limits the odour of bad smelly oils cooking also prevents grease been trasmitted onto the kitchen walls.

- This is the third actifryer i have had because of a malfunction with the equipment. the first one i purchased the adjetator broke, the next it cahght fire near the heating eliment, the one now which i have purchase from dixons is working ok for now? Dont get bme wrong it is still a good product and would not do with out it.I think Tefal should concider to connect the timer to the cooking period so that the machine cuts out when the timer runs out.

+ it does what it says and the chips taste good and are alot better for you than deep fryed ones.!
there is no mess its very clean . people have commented on the timer not being loud enough but this has not been a problem for me.

This is my 4th machine as all my others have developed faults.......fingers crossed with this one!

+ Nice to have 'real' chips again! Very easy to clean, just a wipe with a damp cloth. No cooking smells. Healthy, amazed at how little oil is needed. Looking forward to being a bit more adventurous with recipes suitable for the fryer.

+ The fryer makes excellent low fat chips but is also very good for cooking other things as well. With a bit of experimenting and a clear idea how the hot air system works I am sure that I will be able to use it for even more recipes.

+ I find the whole concept extremely good. Perhaps its a little on the heavy side but the chips are certainly worth cooking. Great to have a healthy option.
