Score 9.0/10+ No need to boil the kettle as hot water is only a matter of seconds away.
- The water filter does not sit well even when clipped in place, needs a better fitting machanism otherwise each time you fill the reservoir the water filter falls over even when filling very carefully

Score 4.0/10+ Easy if you want a Quick brew.
- Noisy. Temperature doesn't seem to reach the same as a boiled kettle. Having to descale kettle after only a short period.

Score 7.0/10+ Its instant hot water and very handy for that quick cuppa. If you fancy a glass of filtered room temperature water its brilliant too.
- The only bad point for me is that I would like my cuppa a bit hotter and find that when I use this item I sometimes have to use a bit of boiling water from the kettle to warm up my tea or coffee that I have taken from the Tefal one cup.

Score 7.0/10+ never have to wait for water to boil
- makes a bit of a noise

jessica, Nottingham , “busy female coffee drinker”
Score 1.0/10+ it looks nice and the concept is fantastic
- it doesnt work ,the water is tepid not hot enough to drink without gagging so pointless, its very noisey something I didnt expect, and slow in turning the water out, measures seem to be for small cups so you have to wait with a mug for 2 cups and just thoroughally dissapointed as like my constant hot drinks so was ideal but unfortunately back to the quick rapid boil!!!

Score 7.0/10+ Very quick boiling water if you just need a few mugs or cups full. Built in filter if you want filtered water as well. Nice idea as it does save power and therefore is green if you are into that sort of thing.
- NOISY and VIBRATES, guaranteed to wake the household! Sounds like a cross between a coffee perc and a muffled car horn. Time consuming to descale with water and white vinegar solution, this is monthly if you are in a hard water area. Drips all over your worktops after use and if you need more than a few mugs, such as a washing up bowl full, pull up a chair. Frequently gets some kind of lockup which won't reset unless you power it down for ages. On my second one in less than a year, read into that what you will. Nice idea but microwaving a mug of water is probably just as efficient with alot less noise and cleaning hassles.

Score 2.0/10+ Idea in principal is very good, especially for older people who find lifting a kettle difficult. Also, the speed in which it "boils" is very good.
- However, I had 3 kettles before I got one that actually worked. It is very noisy and it doesn't actually "boil" The temperature is just below boiling, so tea is not that pleasant - coffee is fine!

Instant 'hot' drink
filtered 'cold' water
-
not suitable as a replacement for a kettle - does not boil water
cannot use for baby bottles or anything needing boiling water
it has leaked since day 1
the filters are near impossible to find and the alarm telling you to change it doesnt always turn off.
