+ Design and features are good.
The retailer was most helpful. The set was replaced three times by them before I contacted TEAC directly (see my answer to bad points)

- Dreadful hum at low volume that TEAC says is caused by the speaker system. This makes the radio useless for a quiet room. I had intended it to be used in a bedroom but it is totally inappropriate. I have returned the unit to TEAC who say that this is how it is supposed to sound. I now use it on;y as a backup radio in the living area. This is disappointing as it is one of the most expensive of similar DAB radios.

+ The style and shape makes it very adaptable to most spaces. The ease of use for a non-technophile is perfect and the remote is very positive and ergonomic. Altogether an extremely well designed piece of kit.
