+ portable, internal battery, neat design, band III and L as well as normal FM, runs on 12v or mains adapter
- lasts 2 - 3 hours on battery even at low volume (can't switch off backlight), poor logical (software) functions i.e. alarm and sleep settings are confusing, can't set different radio station and volume for alarm it just sticks to what and how loud you last listened the night before, no L&R or digital sockets for output, very difficult to connect to external aerial, it isn't 2.5W, but 1.5W as stated in German brochure (why lie?), no RDS on FM although car radios have had this for 10yrs+, it lets itself down and isn't worth the 100GBP - I expected a lot more quality from Teac
