+ Slick design, easy functional controls and intergrated remote. A nice compact design saves space and looks good stacked or otherwise. The sound is clear and warm and cranks out as enough DB to wake the dead, so invest in some good quality speakers.
If you really do want superior sound, then sure a more expensive full fat system would probably suit the more fussy ear.
No complaints here tho, a great little performer for the price.

+ I actually couldn't recommend this system to anyone enough. The amp is crystal clear with a nice flat response and a sturdy but wall shaking bass if the EQ is turned up. DAB tuner is also spot on, as is CD playback.
Sounds great in a small and medium sized room, and will easily fill the rest of the house if the volume is turned up.

- Volume control very sensitive at lower levels, but hardly a problem

+ Quality of sound - especially with the floor standing Mordaunt Short speakers | purchased at the same time

- When you do a DAB distant station scan, it finds the distant station but when you try and listen, nothing happens and the syatem hangs.
