Tamron A17 AF70-300mm f4-5.6 DI LD (Canon AF)

+ Lense exceeds my expectations but as I am only just starting out that would not be hard!
when fully extended does need supporting on good tripod with good results can be handheld if shutterspeed is reasonable.
A good general well priced lense for the amature.

- No image stabalisation but not realy expected at this price.

+ I achieved very good quality images when photographing under low light conditions and from long range. Extremely good value for money.

- Difficult initially for me to get to grips with how to macro. Instructions were quite difficult to follow. But once "sussed" simple to use.
