- Battery Life

+ looks good, easy to use.

- the slide on the camera sometimes gets stuck.

+ Feels well made and has a great finish. Lots of advanced features built in like Wi-Fi and GPS. Camera cover is flush so won't open accidentally. Fast and pretty user interface that uses its large screen efficiently.

- Predictive texting is a bit odd and keeps coming up with "H'll". A few very slight bugs noticed (e.g. animations in text messages) although these may be fixed in later firmware versions. Would be good to be able to switch flight mode on and off without rebooting the handset. The keypad feels a tiny bit too 'sunken', especially when trying to press the corner keys, although it may be that I just need to get used to it! Would be nice to have a toggle between US/UK for the address book field Zip Code so it doesn't default to numbers. The calendar could do with: a) better connection with address book for birthdays since altering the name or birthday of a contact only partially updates the calendar entry. b) an option for anniversary and party as types of calendar entries. c) have an option to display the next several events, maybe on the main screen. d) automatically make birthdays (and anniversaries) "all day events". e) show the age of someone having a birthday plus have an option for omitting their birthyear.

+ Camera is quality, takes great pictures and can adjust settings to make them even better with the bestpic mode. Taking pictures at night is just as easy as taking them in the day, the quality of the pictures are good. The music player and organiser allows music and albums to be put in the correct order which is good for not mixing files etc.

- Battery life isn't great lasts just about a day with little use.

+ the c905 is a medium sized phone it has a good weight to it, very practical, has loads of nifty functions like: radio, camera, gprs, web-and-walk, amazing media player for video's, pictures, music and the sound quailty is superb, the nifty shortcut keys on the c905 are very effective and after getting used to it i must say one of the best phones i have used in a long time.

- there is not much to say about the c905 as a bad point.

+ It takes great photos for a phone camera and yet it's small enough to fit in your pocket. The sliding action lock and chunky keypad are great, as is the easy access to the camera by flipping the lens cover.

- Lack of any games out of the box and some of the other settings are a little confusing to start.

+ The 8.1 megapixel camera gives great qualitys pics and videos. The speed of the internet web browser is very quick.

- As the screen is so large I've had to buy a separate carrier case to stop it from getting scratched

+ Great camera, Easy to use phone, has lots of features like GPS, Geo-Tagging, Wi-Fi and HDSPA. Works well with many free java apps e.g: google maps. This phone does not have a touchscreen which makes the phone more conventional to use and means that the battery charge lasts longer than an equivalent touchscreen rival.

- The keys are a little fiddly to use when texting and do not seem very tactile. The flash is sometimes over-powerful and can get a lot of flashback in enclosed spaces. The phone is slightly bulkier than other phones. Although the camera is great, there is no optical zoom, just digital.

- none apart from slightly poor signal in my area which is nothing to do with the phone

+ The phone has a lot of great features such as the music player, camera and good internet connectivity. Plus a lot of other features i wasn't expecting like google maps, track ID and a few others. The battery is great when using the phone as a camera and i have taken around 300 pictures over the course of the night before the battery has drained.

- The screen could do with being a bit bigger, as it is quite small compared to other phones in its class. And although i praised the battery earlier i also thnk it could do with being a bit better with general use. Compared to other phones i have previously had it doesn't last very long when i am just textiing of phoning people.

- The 1 2 3 buttons are to close to the bottom of the phone when in the slide position. The keyboard and screen has become to seperate slightly increasing the size of the gap between the top and bottom of the phone.

- Only problem I really got is the square navigation key is a bit harder to press down than the rest of the keys.Wether or not it will ease with more use,all the other keys are easy to use.

- If you have fat thumbs and like texting this isn't a phone for you due to the design of the keypad... however the Nokia N series (n85 & n96) share this same design problem, so it's hardly fair to mark it down due to this.

- niggly little faults have started, i have to keep performing "soft reset" and now alarm does not go off! battery has to be removed to reset sysyem as it keeps crashing, which is annoying!
also every time you take a picture instead of just saving and quickly taking the next picture it keeps coming up with menus of what you want to do with it when all you want it to do is save . for quality and picture k800i is overall a better phone.
also the mp3 player function is'nt as good on this compared to the k800i on albums feature it doesnt display all the albums and you have to go through tracks to sometimes find the song you want.

- Battery life can be low when phone is new, but has increased over the first two months of me having my phone.

- After a month of use, the number 6 on the keypad has lost its click when you press it, which can be reallly annoying because you dont know whether you have pressed it or not. It was not through neglect or misuse of the phone, as far as im aware I did nothing for it to do this.

- Very few. Battery life is the only area which could be improved; however, its impecible features deserve as much battery life as they need.

+ camera is AMAZING on this, as is the storage options for photos and videos etc. as with all sony ericsson phones, the audio features are also great and it's very very easy to use.

+ The phone has some seriously good qualities, including the 8.1MP camera, the calling features, WiFi... etc, and with the interactive built in wallpapers that move as you tilt the phone it is obvious it has potential.

- The bad points about the phone are that you can't change the main screen shortcuts being up or right... I like setting it up so that I can go to my Inbox, Contacts, Create New message & Media Folder.... but of course the only two I can change are Create New Message & Contacts... locking Live! & google in place is just a small feature that annoys me to no end. But seeing as that is the only issue I can think of at this time, it puts the phone in a very good light and I am impressed. Keep it up Sony!

- Not very ergonmic.. sharp edges and top heavy. Keypad buttons feel a bit cheap - too small and awkward position due to being top heavy... hard to text one handed! Lock function - cant quite work out why it locks sometimes - can be frustrating especially when trying to take a quick pic. Preferred navigation on K800i.

- Manual lens cover is fiddly. Screen is smaller than its rivals. No camera in front for video calling.

+ Brilliant camera and they've cracked the protection of the lens on this model (about time too!), usual excellent intuitive navigation from Sony, excellent phone.

- Silly plasticy keyboard which has a tendancy to 'double hit' keys particularly when texting-would be a major annoyance but for the fact that the rest of the phone is so good and I'll no doubt get used to it eventually!
