If you care about MP3 sound quality then this is the product for you. The supplied Headphones are exceptional and suggest that Sony are still making products for people who care about sound quality rather than just appearance and gimmicks (like touch screens).
Previous Sony MP3 players were good, but the download software was awkward and problematic, the use of drag and drop or Windows Media Player eliminates any issues and creates the perfect player

You need to use Windows Media Player to create a playlist.

I found that the SONY NWZA818B was very easy to pick up and get to grips with, and within a matter of minutes I had already gotten to grips with the majority of its functions. I found the sound quality to be very good indeed and the earphones included in the package are among the best I have used.
-
There is only one minor fault I found which was the battery, although it does last for quite some time I did expect it to last a little longer than it did.

Sound quality, portability and ease of use all score highly (supplied ear phones are good too). That's surely what you want from an mp3 player.
It's also easy to sync with your computer and supports a wide range of file formats.
-
You can't add extra memory, which is a great shame.
Also, why is the battery not user-changeable (you have to take it to a Sony dealer)

A truly great MP3 that seriously beats the Ipod hands down, the sound quality is unbelievable, and you cant go wrong with Sony! The headphones supplied are of top quality an the battery life is awesome, great screen too. And what a great price too!
-
NOTHING YET! getting videos onto it i hear is a little problematic but i have not tried myself, but to be honest this is not ideal for videos, go for something with a bigger screen if videos is your main reason for buying, dont get me wrong, this is prefect for a few vids.

As a sometime user of iTunes the Walkman isn't recognised by the iTunes software. I seem to have to use a media convertor and RealPlay. Might just be my lack of knowledge of course.
