+ Precise guidamce, large clear screen and ease of use was all that I wanted from a sat.nav. The Sony U82 is the only sat.nav. available which provides all that I wanted at a reasoneble price.
- A protective or even better, a rigid container to hold product when not in use should be available - even as an optional extra.

+ Huge screen but a very slim body. Best dash/window mount I've seen on a sat nav (actually sticks to textured plastic of my dashboard). Gives full details of POIs including phone numbers! Speed camera database and updates are not as hard to install as many reviewers have stated (they just can't follow simple instructions).
- Sometimes very slow to pick up signal after exiting multi story car park. Some POIs very out of date.
