+ Price for the spec

- Sound quality is not good and the speakers are particularly poor quality. i have to say that i was tempted by the price and spec but most of the recent Sony kit that i have purchased has been a let down, i wont be buying Sony again

+ Small, compact but very powerful. The price is fantastic shop around and see the difference!

- When you switch it on the CD drawer seems to go through a setting up process and is noisy for the first minute of operation but i can live with it.

+ Nice sound. Great to hook up to my ipod.

- Bulky design even though it is described as a mini system. Quite "boyish" looking but if thats what you want then its great!! I would like to have seen a facility to change the treble and bass manually as there only seem to be different sound options such as pop, rock etc.

+ Powerful but very compact. I use it in the garden for parties without needing full volume. the sound is clear and not distorted. Handy with my ipod as i can program for the duration without having to the machine.

- At the price it is difficult to find fault. Personally I would have like a cassette player as I have large collection of cassettes.
