+ Does a good job of recording music off the radio

+ Does what it says on the box in a very competant way, overall it's a very good entry level machine.

- No digital output. but that's all.

- no headphone socket and no digital output (both were on the older sony models)

+ I use it for recording off the radio. The quality of sound is good from a digital source and I can edit out what I do not want. If I want to keep the recording I can either keep it on my computer or put to CD

- Some of the controls are fiddly and hard to see, unless you are lucky enough to have a set up with excellent light.

+ Lightweight, good legible readout,good sound reproduction.

- Casing could be more compact,absence of headphone sockets, could have additional pitch shift positions(smaller adjustments).
