+ Great screen quality, easy set-up - glad I decided to pay a little extra and go for the Sony

- Nothing really except for the Sony Theatre button which means that compatible Sony products can be controlled with one controller - I have sony surround system, sony blu ray player and now the TV - still need all three buttons - but this is a problem with the tele itself just the overall connectivity

john, scotland , “a devil for detail”

+ simple set up with much improved bravia programme and function menus plus a more realistic three HDMI sockets than the one on previous models

- clear see through panel at the bottom why ? you require longer than necessary HDMI and scart leads to route them out of sight behind the center stand upright to stop them being an eyesore visible through the clear panel plus the 3rd HDMI socket being on the side of the set is not ideal as any connected lead tends to be visible.

+ General Quality of picture and screen size, particularly when using Blu Ray

- So many options to tweak ..and not overly keen on the clear panel below the screen which shows all the cables behind the tv (even after tying them up).
Poor when showing football ..

+ Fuctionallity of the LCD TV is fantastic, easy to set up and great to use. Using the DNLA connection is great to stream media to the system so enabling maximization of your living space. Picture quality is superb even using a normal satelite system.

- Instruction manual for using integrated systems could go a little more indepth or maybe better help from Sony themselves however as yet I havn't found any real bad points although I am not using the speakers on the TV as I use a Sony Cinema Audio system which the LCD TV connects to Optically.

+ Set up was easy, and viewing is a pleasure. HD is excellent, and the picture quality is fantastic. Sound is good for a TV, but nothing special either.

- When viewing the Freeview TV guide, incredibly annoying adverts are displayed that are very off-putting. Have not found any way of switching these off. Many times bigger than the television display. I would rather pay extra for the television than having these annoying adverts! Again with the freeview guide, it takes AGES to download the programme data. You can leave this on automatic so it downloads overnight, but I think that Sony have missed the irony of having so many "green" features to save energy such as slower start-up, yet they display a permanent message telling you to leave your TV on standby every night to download data!!!!!!
