+ Everything! Wasn't sure about how the phone looked at first but after using it for a while am really liking it.

- The only bad point so far is the sensitivity of the touch screen! Keep sending txt's by accident and finding myself browsing the internet!

+ I have found the phone fun and easy to use. The camera produces good pictures and music from it is excellent especially when played through my blue tooth sony ericsson speaker ball. It took a while to get used to the touch screen but I love it now. I find it clear and easy to use and would highly recommend it.

- It is not so small and quite heavy but not enough so to deter me from having another one.

- The Internet Button on the RHS cannot be changed and i find that i regularly connect to the internet in error. Also i have had the phone a few months and the finish is already rubbing off the buttons.

- SOME OF THE FUNCTIONS DON'T WORK AS PER USAUL WITH SONY ERICSON!!!!!!! IT DOES IT'S OWN THING SOMETIMES SUCH AS FREEZE WHEN I AM TRYING TO END A CALL

+ the camera is really easy and quick to use, which is handy as i have 3 young children who don't sit still for long.
i also like the cover on the lens, so there is no build up of dust. The music player is really good as well, with loud and clear sound from the speaker! Have found it really easy to transfer files from my computer to my phone and vice versa. This is the first time i have had a sony ericsson and i'm very impressed.

- could do with a longer battery life and perhaps more memory.

- The 3 touch screen buttons are dire,, they either refuse to work or work when you don't want them too. Phone turns off randomly and battery / signal strength are a huge step backwards compared to the k800i

- Released too early, touch screen buttons failed immediately and had to go for repair. Weak design, screen broke - not robust.

- Battery Life is poor an warnings are few when its running out. Buttons are fiddly the touch screen buttons are activated by my ear during a call and its too easy to touch a touch screen button and another button at the same time. Software is poor for an ericsson. Camera is very poor concidering its ment to be the top of the range.

- it has 5MP camera but it's flash is the worst. i love to use my K810i because it's flash and result is far better than my new K850i !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

+ Lots of nice features, decent battery life and good camera.

- 1. Camera shutter doesn't always open, but when it works the camera is really good!
2. On-screen 'keys' don't lock whilst you're on a call which means that after you finish the conversation you may have accidentally texted someone (usually the first person in your phonebook)
3. No wi-fi
4. On-screen 'keys' seem heat-sensitive rather than touch-sensitive, which causes probs if used outside in cold weather

+ Simple to use

- Battery life is less than 48hrs, with constant use needs recharging daily. Internet connection is extremely slow

+ The K850i is the best phone i have had so far, the fetures like the camera, its style and other fetures like the MP3 player. I just can't fault and thing on this phone. I jove the touch screen buttons.

- I have on numerous occasions logged onto the internet instead of locking my 'phone. This is inconvenient and can be expensive!

+ It is a lovely phone its got everything you need from a phone.

- I found the buttons on the keypad far too small so when you text after awhile your finger are sore. Also battery could be better.

- I have already had to have one handset replaced and I know of other people who have had several replaced. Everyone I know who has this phone has had it break.

- i have had three replacement phones all of the phones keep freezing and blocking

+ This phone is excellent, very easy to use. Same as any Sony Ericsson I have owned. Would recommend this phone to anyone who is looking for a new phone.

- Only problem i have with this phone is the battery life, it seems to run down quite quickly, apart from that great phone.

+ i had the 800i before so it does more or less the same things the camera quality is better

- very hard to text when you have normal finger and the camera takes longer to start. if i found the k 800i with 5 mg pixel i would have go for it

+ I have taken some great pictures with the 5.0 megapixel camera the quality of which when printed are as good as my digital camera. I only take my phone when traveling now as there is no point packing the camera as well.

- I find I sometimes have a problem when hitting the numbers 2 & 5 as they sit inside the navigation square. This can be frustrating when texting and has slowed me down somewhat.

+ I love this phone. I love the ease of the organiser and the availabilty to synchronise with my computer.
It is easy to use texting.

- Not easy to down load pictures from my phone to the computer.
Not sure of the cost of the web and email, so I have not used it.

- my phone has broken after two months because of the touch screen keypad

+ Superb camera - I rarely carry my digital camera any more. Excellent battery life. High resolution screen. More than capable MP3 player.

- Touch screen 'buttons' gimmicky - keys would be better - also touch screen buttons are often unresponsive when the phone is connected to external power. Adjusting volume is a bit quirky, sometimes the keys work as intended other times not.

- Keys are too tiny to text. Middle navigation rectangle gets in the way of everything. Touch screen annoying as have to have phoned locked all the time if taking it anywhere. Camera is terrible and no where near as good as the 3 mega pixel version. Huge delay when saving photo making it impossible for quick shots. HUGE disappointment all round. Software on phone keeps crashing.

- When the message memory is full you get no warning and have to do a master reset to send and receive messages, i have received a lot of messages over the past while that i would like to have kept but they have been lost. Texting on this phone is a very slow process

+ Being able to edit photographs and use them without the need for a computer.

- The navigation keys especially but all the keys are not as good as a lot of phones.

+ Great Camera,Music sounds good to listen to,Design is awesome,nice and sleek! Good storage size and does everything id want it to.

- Keypad can take a bit of getting used to,the button are firm to press initially but they dont loosen up after time. The software I personally had to upgrade through the phone's upgrade function (So no hassle really) because the phone decided that it didnt want anything to do with the phone's txt facilities, however update done and all fine! Recently been having the odd occassion where the phone decides to just freeze, but isnt that the thing with Mobiles crammed with features? Camera is great but can suffer a little with dark lighting conditions, can be made better however by messing around with settings.

+ Love the media folder really good way to sort photos etc. Contact and texting navigation as good as ever on Ericson phones :)

- Find the touch screen effect cool but have now set up about 20 draft messages by accident when I am talking on the phone. Is a bit sensitive and could maybe deactivate when u are in a call??

- When you call somebody the phone is obviously unlocked but it ends up texting the 1st name in my phone book whilst I am talking. The 'touch screen is a bit irratic, you have to press it precisely for it to work.

+ The camera and video, which I bought it for are really good for a mobile phone, I don't use the media player on it, as I already own one, so I cannot comment on this.

- Touch screen is terrible (I keep hanging up in people by accident when it's pressed to my ear) and the keypad is ridiculously fiddly. The raised section around 2 and 5 is very clumsy design.

+ The only good point i can really point out is the large bright screen.

- I am extemely disappointed with this phone. I find the keypad almost impossible for texting - they keys are so small and far away from each other. I have always loved my previous Sony Erissons. The 850i does not have a power save on the screen (i.e. on my previous phones the clock appeared on the screen together with any messages or calls you had received) therefore you have to press a button to ascertain whether you have had a text/call etc which i cannot get to grips with. I also find the camera alot harder to use.

+ Good camera, contact book and PC synchronisation software.

- Small fiddly keypad, poor touch screen response.

+ The music feature is the only thing that makes this phone remotely good.

- Its broken several times I've had a new handset, this was after not being able to use the phone for four weeks, as it was being repaired then returned, broke again that day with the same fault sent away again for another two weeks then ended up getting a new phone instead. I cant wait for this contract to come up so I can get rid of it and pick something half decent that wont break every five minutes.

+ Basically its a great phone, The display & software features are first class.

- The key's on the keypad are too small & the phone is cumbersome, due to the thickness & weight of the body.

+ The use of the phone to connect my laptop to the internet is invaluable. The camera and video will fullfill all of my requirements for a long time to come.

- My thumb tends to connect with the Select button accidentally when i am using the up directional scroller as it is just to close for my big thumb. The touch sensitive parts of the phone are not really good.

- I keep touching the touch screen internet button and it's costing me

+ The camera is very good. Navigation is also well designed. The touch sensitive lower screen is easy to use.
overall it is a very useful and well designed phone.

- Navigating with the center arrow buttons can be a bit tricky as sometimes you can press other buttons by mistake.
There seems to be a sync problem with the flash when taking pictures at night they often appear very dark.
I also had a problem with the automatic lens cover sticking shut but this seems to have sorted itself.
