Sony DPF-D70 Reviews: Digital Photo Frame

+ Great picture and I like the way the slideshow can fade in and out rather than those silly moves from top, left or right!

- I bought this beacuse it says it has a USB memory stick feed, which it does, but it is a mini rather than standard connection. As its easier for me to use a mennory stick to download pics from my pc, I have had to hunt high and low to get an adapter. The sideshow doesn't work from the remote and you have to hold and press the button on the back of the frame. One you have the hang of it, its OK though

- Remote Control push buttons are very difficult to operate.

+ The prime reason for buying was the better image quality, remote and the fact that it took memory stick pro duo cards which I have an abundance of.

- Remote control is not the most sensitive and is a bit fiddly to use as it is small (this is of concern as I bought it as a present for my elderly parents). It is fine for me though.

+ style, ease of upload of new pictures.

- need to have more control over tilting the screen to view the photographs as unless you are at exactly the right angle the picture can appear dull.
