+ It took a while to get to know how everything worked, not worth buying one if you don't have an HD television or Playstation 3 due to it being AVCHD. The film on a 48" HD Television is superb. I don't use my normal digital camera anymore for photos as the photos from this camera are superb. Best thing I have purchased in years. Focuses quickly, no jerky footage, fast response. I chose the DVD version because I can keep the discs as backups which is very handy for the future and its lighter than the hard drive version. I absolutely love this camcorder and as a complete amateur and a pensioner I think everyone who buys it will be delighted with it.
