+ Plenty of inputs, unit looks very good, but most importantly the image quality is stunning. I was worried about how well it would cope with a Freeview signal but at a normal viewing distance there's been no problems.

- The speakers are very small and are lacking in bass compared to my old Sony CRT TV.

+ Best picture on tv i have ever seen. Colours are rich and vibrant, and when dvds are viewed on the tv, the quality of the picture is superb! Another useful feature is that the tv doubles up as digital photo frame, where you can display your favourite photos.

- Menu system and settings could be more user friendly. At times, picture quality of some Sky programmes convey a bit too much noise. However this may be due to bad aerial reception, on account i live at the bottom of a very steep hill.

+ Really easy to set up - including attaching Sky+, DVD Player and Wii. Out of the box - viewing approx 20 minutes! Picture & sound quality are fantastic and I'm sure will be even better when we upgrade to Sky HD and a BluRay Disc player.

- Only 2 Scart sockets (1 for Sky and 1 for DVD) which means the Wii has to be 'plumbed' into the side using the cables rather than hidden away at the back of the TV. This will be rectified though when we upgrade our DVD player to a BluRay. Other than that, we are really pleased with it!

+ Not much really if you have used a sony HD LCD TV before.

- Image is not as crisp as my old Sony LCD i bought in 2005 (32 inch). Speakers on the old one is much better even though much has been said about how brilliant this TV is but actually quiet disappointed. Actually already missing my old one which was accidentally damaged.

+ Design is best in the class, it is so easy to set up, the picture quality is stunning (in particular contrast level and when used with an external video processor to convet interlaced SD DVDs to 1080p video or when used with Blu-ray or HD-DVD native 1080p), full HD resolution, intuitive Sony GUI to set options.

- The sound is Ok, and is limited by the design (small speaker along the bottom of the screen). The built in deinterlacer is only average, it can't cope with 3-2 pulldown on NTSC DVDs but is Ok with PAL DVDs.
