+ not having held the phone in my hand when ordering i was a little nervous , but on receiving it i was very pleased with the look and features on the phone battery life is good , i cant really fault it

+ Excellent camera features that take excellent pictures.

- WIFI drains battery super-fast, but that's to be expected with that feature so just leave it off when not using it!

+ Good all round phone.

- Back panel comes off pretty easily.

+ i love it the attention is great!

- the camera does not have any lens protection, so u have to clean it every time u use it!

+ amazing video/camera and it comes with memory card too, so loads of room for music and pictures.bright clear screen too.

- cant lock off files to stop nosey people looking at things, this is a feature on other phones but not sony's:( battery life is not too good which is pretty bad if you're out and about taking loads of pics.

+ Very intuitive to use , excellent sound and visual quality.Very good camera

+ Excellent range of features i.e. great camera, wifi, storage, size of phone, good screen and it makes phone calls as well! The free speakers are amazing and it is useful to have a standard 3.5 mm ear phone jack.

- Wifi can run down the battery very quickly so turn it off if not using wifi. The volume control can be a little awkward to use and find.

+ Great phone for both music and camera. Larger screen allows you to watch great quality videos.

- The battery is pretty poor, especially if you use the handset a lot throughout the day.

+ Great phone! The "Tekkies" pick it to bits, but as a "normal user" its fab and easy to use. Its an ideal phone for the traveller/out doors person. No need to take a camera or mp3 as the W995 has it all in abundance.

+ this is a realy smart looking phone and also the quality of the pictures is great and sound is good too.

- when im ready to send a txt,when im looking for a contact in my phone it takes a couple of seconds to go onto the contacts.

+ Sound quality, mp3 player easy to use.

- scratches on screen easily no cover on lens. Bought for camera to use at night but it does not produce clear pictures at concerts. Some camera functions are not easy to use like small zoom buttons. Taking continuous pictures can be tricky as it can be slow.

+ 8.1 camera with decsent video capture. music player is second to none,additioal speaker is amazing for the size.

+ Very easy to use with nice design. Very good sound quality,good for web browsing and watching videos.

- The bad points are the battery life as it is very short if using wifi and watching a lot of videos and the camera as the picture quality isn't great even though it is 8mp.

- The top buttons can be a bit tricky to press without hitting the slide bit.

+ this phone is a really nice phone i loved it the minute i saw my friends and had to get one.when it arrived i was not dissapointed.it looks good ,sounds good and is really easy to use.

- the only bad thing i can say about this phone is the battery life allthough i only have to charge it every other day so its not 2 bad.

+ I've had a string of Nokia's before switching to the Sony Ericsson but I found my way around the SE very quickly with only a little bit of technical support from my sister-in-law who already owns an SE (I did think the user manual in the box was pretty pants and basic). I Like the operating system. I Like the features. I'm not bothered to use the web on my phone (I've got a perfectly good wireless laptop for that) but for calling, texting, photography and music uses I rate this as a sweet, compact little phone.

- I don't really have any faults. Yes, the battery life isn't great but because I'm rarely far away from a powerpoint so I tend to top it up every eve or every other eve and it hasn't died on my yet.

+ The fantastic combination of features, particularly the wifi, camera and GPS. It's got REAL buttons instead touch-screen so i can type one-handed! The sound quality for voice calls is as good as I've come to expect from SE phones and the speaker-phone function works well. The addition of a 3.5mm headphone jack socket is an excellent idea, so i'm not quite sure why SE still provide you with the adapter to use headphones with their proprietary port.

- The fold out stand is pretty useless and doesn't work at all with the speakers attached. Sometimes is can be tricky to slide the phone open one-handed because you have to apply pressure to the screen with your thumb; most of the time it's fine but sometimes if your hands are greasy you can't do it.

+ I love the conversation feature in messages

- music isnt overally loud

+ Great camera and music player. Battery life is sufficient under heavy use. No problems with freezing like the nokias you get with the same features. The wi-fi is excellent and can be used to enhance your regular network 3G internet. An sms conversation function enhances your texting by showing you the previous messages sent by the person you are replying to, making it appear like IMing or similar to a Blackberry. It's addictive to use.

- The battery life could be better. The built-in browser isn't the best I have seen. More office use functionality would have been a great help since you can't view MS Office documents or pdf files. Lack of xenon flash with the camera but the LED does its job ok.

+ The phone looks good and is easy to load up with tunes, wed browsing is OK

- Battery life is not to good and seems to take a fair amount of time to recharge, cant seem to get picture text to work, but that might be me !!

+ i thought id miss my LG viewty and couldnt decide whether to go for the viewty 2 or this i know now ive made the right choice packed with loads of stuf and only time will bring more!!!

- only the bbc i-player on tv no option to add likes off sky player etc...

- I have been a Nokia user and this is my first phone which is not a nokia so it has taken me time to get to use to the features. I must admit that i still think Nokia's are more user freindly.

- Battery life is poor but then nothing a good few hours of charging cant solve. Also the back does come off to easily, I found taping it down to be the answer though.

+ Great look and you can hold this phone easily when doing a thumb text. I love the quality of the video and photos it takes.

+ Sony Ericsson have done it again! The superb W995 is a beautifully designed phone packed with fantastic features including excellent sound quality and a fantastic 8.1 Megapixel camera. The phone has a good weight and looks incredibly stylish with it's brushed metal exterior.

- The 8.1 Megapixel camera doesn't have as good a lens as it's Cybershot equivalent.

+ Very neat looking phone and easy to use. Camera is excellent

- The music section keeps coming up even if you just open the phone it automatically assumes you want to play music. And you could just be collecting a text and it reverts to the music. Its a bit of a pain. Buttons are little bit close together.

+ smart phone good design and fairly easy to use camera/video wld giv 10/10

- cant store alot of msgs to phone and when save to memory card it says theres no saved msgs even tho they are saved. internet takes forever trying to check your mins and txt u get fed up waiting so exit without checking thats a problem when u get sent picture/msgs you have to see it at my photo which takes forever to load and log in which is temp. unavailable alot instead of when u get sent picture you can view it without logging in with username and photo i.d

+ Music system and camera are very good for the price paid.

- The internet can be hard to use at times when using wifi. It is unclear when carrying out certain functions whether the internet is being used or not.

+ I got this phone as a replacement for another Sony Ericcson model and was not disappointed. Its a great phone, and the camera is excellent, so saves carrying both a phone and a camera around which I used to do. The phone has everything you could want and more. Holds so much music, vide''s etc in the huge memory so overall is an excellent choice of phone.

- Annoying delays when you change functions; addressbook "contact lookup" takes a few seconds to load up, as does calculator.

+ Camera is excellent - if just a bit slow to react but takes great pictures and the software to edit is simple and easy to use. Phone similar to previous Sony ericsson formats easy to navigate through options and set up different features. Conversation feature for texts excellent to help keep track of arrangements.

- Screen sometimes slow to load at which point I've selected the wrong feature or recipent for text for example.

+ this product is a decent design, i would recomend it to my friend i like the design but i think that there shud be more vary in colours.

- screen gets scratchd,
stand on top not a good design as when u take it out ya pocket it sumtimes moves and opens.

+ Has a massive amount of features, Good looking and enjoyable to use. 8GB Memory and excellent media facilities make it a great phone if you like music, Great internet browsing and cool downloadable games at applications.
Camera is great as well!

- Only bad point is battery life could be better, Will last a long time if your just texting/calling occasionally, But if your listening to music/watching films it will go down very fast.

+ The camera's great, the phone is small yet reassuringly clunky, it is simple and straight forward and sounds good. The web browsing is quicker than my old Blackberry, and easier to navigate.

- The battery isn't all that, but isn't too bad either.

+ I love this phone. It's features are fantastic. Being able to watch a full length film is brill. Also the speaker included is amazing. Good sound. I especially love the 'torch' feature. I have no problems with this phone and I' ve had a lot of phones. Sony Ericsson is the best by far in my opinion.

- Only 1 slight criticism, the style could be a bit more slim-lined & stylish. But apart from that can't really fault it.

- use of camera is a bit slow, so taking the shots at a small opportunity is hard to get. found the predictive texting is not as easy to use compare to my old phone, so have gone back to manual texting.
