- As I was going to set up the HiFi stand under the stairs at home I had a height restriction so I only wanted to assemble 3 out of the 4 shelves. This meant that the 4 lengths of studding that hold the entire stand together required cutting down. The problem was that the studding was only threaded at the ends so the cut ends needed re-threading. This presented another problem in that the overall diameter of the studding was to small to cut a new thread using a conventional die so I ended up having to purchase 4 new lengths of 1/4 whitworth studding which was threaded along its entire length. After all this though I am entirely happy with my stand.

Stable, stylish, plenty of room for large hi fi units. Easy access to rear for cable attachment to units.
Very good value for money when compared with other branded "hi-fi" stands.
- Too resonant for high end equipment. Needs extra damping inside uprights and thin mats on the shelves underneath the equipment to deaden the "ting" of the glass.
