+ Its looks smart and is really quiet.

- Ive got a new dinner service after just getting married and it doesn't hold the plates and bowls very well. The top basket is the same whereby glasses full over when the door is opened and shut. My indesit one prior to this was the same.

- very difficult to load cuttery tray small and will not stand up in dishwasher keeps falling over l have to use the tray from my old disher washer good job l saved it !!

+ Modern and stylish, washes very well and does the job it is suposed to, always a good thing.

- Cannot fit too many large plates and the front door gets dirty easily as it is black, need to be wiped everyday to look good!

+ It's SMEG so I know it should be good quality and long lasting.

- My plates don't fit in as they are not completely round so I have to wash them by hand!

- cutlery tray falls over all time, cups dont stay upright, they fall over because rack is wide apart,plates dont fit unless you higher the top rack, and then only on one side.

- Plate racks can only take basic dinner plates - does not allow for modern curved sides or slightly larger plates which restrict the cleaning arms, stacking can therefore be a problem
, as baskets cannot be lowered to accomodate larger crockery.

- had a smeg before and was really happy with it hense i bought another, this product was very dissapointing, i know it is a low spec dishwasher but never expected such poor quality, not the quality i have experience with smeg in the past,

- loading is a problem in terms of making space for dinner plates etc. Eccentric in terms of putting cleaning product in cuttlery draw. Flashing lights until switch it off seems a waste of electricity.

+ A good looking appliance which very quiet in operation. Cleans well and while it is at the cheaper end of theSMEG range I feel it is good value for money

- The racks were a bit fiddly till we got used to them (Read the instruction manual on loading before use)

- Looks cheap and is not as well spec'd as an equivalent Hotpoint. You are paying a lot for the brand name and it is very basic and plastic looking. Not got as many features as I'd expected.

+ its colour as we wanted black also quick wash cycles and not as noisy as our other which was indesit.

- Impossible to load, doesn't fit normal size dinner plates, cutlry holfder has no place and then doesn't fit anywhere that doesn't jam the wash rotators... and it's impossible to program.

+ Very pleased with this product, very quit to use, also have a Smeg washing washine that I am very happy with and thats why I purchased this dishwasher.

- Normal cycle takes a bit longer than I hoped for.

+ the cutlery tray can be moved anywhere on bottom tray, and even splits in half if you are short of room, and the bottom tray is flat so you can put anything anywhere - the reason why we chose this dishwasher.

+ Noise level

- Crockery basket does not accomadate cereal bowls at all well so they are laid flat and take up a lot of room

+ Looks great in my kitchen, really modern design.

- The compartment for knives and forks could be bigger.

+ Very quiet and sleek n stylish

- Not enough choice of general cycles that are a shorter time. Quite difficult to fit all your pots in and the cutlery basket is constantly falling over.

+ Quiet, efficient and attractive designer type finish. Fits really well into the space left by my old disherwasher and compliments my kitchen beautifully. I was very lucky to get this particular model at a sale price and having 14 place settings instead of 12 for less money than a 12 place setting has made me very happy. Overall a stylish machine that cleans properly and is quiet during it's operation.

- I have 27.5 cm dinner plates and it did take me a while to sort out the top position for the top wash basket. It is actually at an angle but this doesn't make any difference to the cleaning performance. The cutlery basket isn't any good but i retained the old ones from my previous dishwasher. Also the adjustable cupstands in the top basket were a nuicance and i removed them. This has made room for my long stemmed wineglasses so this suits my needs, but may not please other people.
