Smeg DF410SF Reviews: Freestanding, 45cm wide, White Dishwasher

+ The Black finish looks fantastic,Smeg is a quality brand and its surprised me how quiet the cycles are,plenty of place settings,all in all I would buy this product again.

- The only downfall is as its a slimline model there are plenty of place setting but that does limit space for saucepans or baking trays but its expected i suppose on this slimline version.

+ looks fab, is nice and quiet and washes the pots!

- A little awkward to load but nothing that would put me off from buying it!

- Slots are too narrow to place Denby dinner plates in every slot

- t=the digital programming can be tricky as there is a drying setting which is not necessary, they recommend to open the door to allow drying, but then when you run again on new wash the programmer is stuck in dry and although this can be cancelled it is a bit annoying

+ Fits neatly in small spaces when you haven't got the room for a full size dishwasher. Looks verys cool (in stainless steel)...for a dishwasher. Uses little energy and water on low settings and cleans really well. Good for 2 people.

- Takes practice to fill it to its optimum capacity but can easily do 2 days worth of pots and pans. Not big enough for more than a 2 person household.

- It's broken within weeks!

+ The machine is good looking and sleek, not at all plasticy or cheap. It holds enough dishes for a familly of 3 for a day which is all I wanted. The height adjustable top shelf is a saviour for washing my long cutlery knives..

- the machine arrived with a huge sticker on the front to advise of careful handling, unfortunately the 30 mins I spend trying to remove it gave me back ache and sore knees

+ looks good and excellent performance. Does exectly as it says in the spec.

- I do begrudge having to pay extra for a slimline black model compared to a standard white one but no complaints with its performance
