+ good build quality and feels as if it will stand up to knocks. lovely finish.
For the price i can't recommend it enough, there is nothing out there comparable for the cost.
well worth a look.

- soooo heavy, can be used handheld but realistically I always try use a tripod or beanbag. the zoom mechanism is back to front from Nikon! which can be a bit frustrating initially.
still working out what to do with the vibration reduction as or my type of photography (wildlife) i just can't seem to get the results that i am after, but don't let this put you off.

+ Having never used a lens of this size and weight before I was a little scared. It was unfounded as the OS keeps the image in focus.

+ This is a great lens for wildlife photography and produces amazing results even when hand held.
Works superbly with my Nikon D90.

- The lens shade is a little long and obstructs the zoom ring between 150 -200m part of range in packed position..
