+ It has a number of cycles, including eco, and has time delay to take advantage of cheaper electricity. The top tray can be raised or lowered to suit either different height glasses or crockery, or to lessen the bending down to stack the machine. The machine lets you know when salt or rinse aid is running out. Saves guesswork.

- The opening door is stiffer than I am used to.

+ Great value, so much quieter than the Bosch we had previously (that was noisy washing the dishes and taking in water from the mains, it made the pipes clunk - none of this with the Siemens). Cleans things beautifully. A great buy.
