+ Bought this one as a second microwave was needed (we are a big family). Our other one is an earlier model of this one but with the grilling element. Both are easy to use, and this one is better in the fact that there is not fiddly grilling element getting in the way of, say, a bag of microwave rice. Would recommend to anyone.
Sharp are reliable and last well. Our other one was bought in January 2004, and is still going strong!

+ I wanted a small oven but with a high wattage and this is perfect in this respect. Overall, I am happy with this oven - very good value.

- There are a couple of things I'm disappointed with, the Express Cook doesn't have a button for a plated meal - my last one had this and was extremely useful for a busy family who come and go at all times. Also, I can't alter the power level once the time has been set - again I found this useful on my last machine.

+ Very well constructed and efficient microwave. Easily holds a full dinner plate and cooks very evenly and effectively, food is piping hot when ready.

- I only have one very small niggle. The clock is a devil to adjust if the electricity supply is interrupted. It is not a very intuitive system and I have to return to the manual every time to find out how to set the clock.

+ Good capacity

- turntable often slips off. Uneven heating, poor heating compared to other microwave, can't see food easily whilst heating. Irritatingly have to rest the clock before use evertime unplugged
