+ HD picture is very good - Easy to use - Big screen for Little Money - Eco friendly - Good picture if you have a strong signal.

- Only one RGB quality Scart input. - Sound is not the best but can be put through an external amp - May require upgraded aerial/booster to improve reception compared to CRT TV's. - Cluttered EPG.

+ Excellent picture when watching films and main stream TV looks great and is easy to set up and use
When in HD picture is fantastic.

- There is some blurring when watching fast moving action mainly live sports.
Not sure if TV is working at 100Hz as when small box appears in top right hand corner telling you which format you are watching (TV, EXT, HDMI) it always says its set at 50Hz.

+ Picture has nice colour and is very good especially in HD

- The sound quality is atrocious for a device of this cost, I've heard childrens toys with better sound. One assumes that it has been sacrificed because the surround sound fanatics provide their own sound and therefore don't use that supplied leaving the rest of us to pay the price.

+ Sleek design, excellent picture, easy to set up.

- Sound quality poor (as with all flat panel TV's). Doesn't appear to auto-sense when external DVD player, Playstation etc are switched on, you need to choose which input is displayed.

+ Easy to use and a very good picture.

- I'm not overly impressed by the sound quality, it lacks a bit of depth however I bought a Sound Bar as well which really improves things. The main issue that I have with the sound bar is that at times the lip synchronisation is really bad and there will be a significant echo if the TV sound is turned up as well.

- I am not yet able to use it to full capacity as I am awaiting a HD service installation in October.

HD TV	Full HD 1080p
‘HD Ready’ is a Europe-wide standard designed to made HD technology less confusing. Freeview is free digital terrestrial TV. FreeSat is a free digital satellite TV service, which gives you HD programming from people like the BBC without having to pay for a subscription to a service like Sky.
