+ Great TV 1080p 100HZ 24p and for a great price too. Lovely picture once you change the factory settings. Sound is good. Nice design and easy to use menus. Works great with my PS3 and blu rays look fantastic. No imge blur, the blacks are great. Great for gaming. Very nice eco mode otpions.

- Come from the factory setup with too many options on, this causes motion blur and image looks fake. Fine once you change the settings to suit your needs.

+ Narrow border around screen gives good clean image on the wall - picture quality is excellent

- Switches on the side are not in the best position.

+ Very pleased with the TV - extremely good definition, even without full HD

- slightly spoiled by a strange brightness/contrast default setting, but i am sure this can be corrected - it appears to have a 'variable' brightness option which is too clever for it's own good !

+ Amazing priced TV with all the major extras any high end HD set requires.

- the Power button is hidden around the back of the TV which is hard to find for soem people and isn't helpful to people who want to be green and switch the power off when not in use. If the power putton was more prominent it would encourage people to switch off more.

+ Great picture quality and good value for money based on that. Easy to use and set up.

- Sound is poor and defo need some sort of back up speakers! Our living room isn't massive and we struggle with the sound with the tv speakers alone.

- Had to go through set up twice - once for Freeview - Once for analogue.
When I connected old VCR plays OK (acceptable considering record quality) but couldn't get it to show what was being recorded (it recorded OK - whether from Digital or Analogue source) - probably compatibility issue with 6 yr old machine.

+ good looking set, easy to use

- Fair pic quality, can sometimes blur when watching fast moving pictures (can see pixles).

+ Image quality is good, but still playing around with the settings. Menu is easy to use and the remote is set out well.

- The sound is awful. The only way to get good sound quality is to stand behind the TV! I wouldn't have minded if it had been recommended to get a 2.1/5.1 kit at the same time, because the speakers and position of them just aren't fit for purpose.

+ Excellent value for money. Good spec compared to other similarly priced TVs. Sharp's delivery service was first class. As a first LCD TV I don't think I could have found a better deal.

- I need to adjust the default settings as they don't seem to provide the best picture. Sound isn't the best. Instructions on set up are not as clear as they could be.

+ Very good number and variety of connections.

- External sources only picked up automatically some of the time.

+ Loads of connectivity linking the past with the future of home entertainment. Back light makes all the difference to picture quality.
Having an HD satellite receiver (not SKY) but a Technomate 6900 Super I checked the picture via HD HDMI, and Freeview, it was hard to delineate between the two inputs. The only real give away was the programme info that appears in the top right hand of the screen..
Sound on analogue TV lacks clarity, but why watch analogue when you have freeview.

- Black shiny case attracts the dust. Clean it and within minutes it looks just the same. An anti static wipe helps.

+ Excellent screen fidelity

- Remote control could be better designed.

+ Good value at £399 with a 5 year warranty. Seems to do everything pretty well although I am still making my way through the manual. However to get it plugged in and up and running was straightforward.

- Picture could be a little sharper but maybe I can adjust that myself!

+ the tv has great picture quality with just the digital signal not the hd signal, and it looks great as it hasn't got the wide glossy border that most new tv's have.All the menu's are easy to find and use

- speakers don't sound as good as i thought they might.

- Multi page teletext. You cannot move to the next page but have to wait for it to display.

- Could have had more explanation about video recorder tuning and need to probably update recorder device to record freeview channels easily.

+ Great picture, good menu system and design

- Speakers are not great, base has to be kept down to stop crackling. utilising a sound sytsems resolves this. Remote control is tacty.

+ Excellent picture quality. Sound is good despite other users reports. Setup is fairly straight forward but the number of available adjustments is over the top.

+ Picture quality just so good after years of a cathode tube experience. Sound was good but think it can be better when the tv is linked to a 5speaker system in the future. A purchase I will not regret.

- None at the moment, it is just great.

+ Really easy to set up and adjust the settings to suit. Nice looking TV. Not much difference in picture quality when on ECO save setting and so encourages use of this option.

- Off button on the side of the TV is not that easy to access if the TV is not wall mounted. You have to look carefully for it & can sometimes hit the volume button instead by mistake. Sound quality is fine but volume/bass is better when put through surround sound.
