+ Great sound and noise cancelation is better than I thought it would be. Comfortable to wear even over many hours.

+ takes away the roar from the engines when flying, bass is greatly improved when active.

- they do not kill the higher frequency noise, a lot of hiss, more than I expected, but still they make
flying a better experience.

- I am very disappointed with these headphones as I've always considered Sennheiser to be a leading brand in this field. The headphones are too small and don't completely cover my ears, which makes them quite uncomfortable, plus the noise reduction unit is cumbersome. My main irritation is that the sound is not even as loud as my bog standard in-ear iPod phones, which I wanted them to replace as a superior product. The only difference between sound reduction on and off is that the volume increases very slightly. My friend has a Bose pair which are more expensive but at least 'do what it says on the tin'! I will invest my money in Bose in future!
