Sebo Airbelt K1 Pet Reviews: , Cylinder, Bagged Vacuum cleaner

+ Previously, I had battled with bulkier vacuum cleaners such as the dyson, thinking I would need a big powerful cleaner to pick up pet hair. However, at 5 foot 2 and under 8 stone, vacuuming proved frustrating and cumbersome, and could take hours. I was never sure who was in control: me or the cleaner. I'd managed to break two dyson cleaners: one by dropping it down the stairs, and another by vacuuming up its own electrical lead. Having read reviews, I bought the sebo, and am thrilled! I don't have to break my back propping it up on the stairs, it gets in small corners and is not heavy. Also, its powerful enough to rid the carpet and furnishings of dog hairs, but also packs away quite small. I would definately recommend this to anyone with a dog or cat, and especially for little people who find vacuuming more of a battle than a basic household chore.

+ lightweight, very easy to use and powerful, easily gets rid of cat hairs, especially with turbo head.

- bit tricky getting out the long hairs that get trapped in the brush and more expensive than your average hoover but I think it's worth it!

+ Neat, compact, effiecient

- fairly expensive bags

+ Picks up well, easy to manouvre, doesn't damage furniture when moving around, attachments accesible.

- Sometimes get the head twisted.

+ Very light and easy to work with. Small turbo brush is excellent or furniture and stairs

- Large turbo brush is not as effective as brushes does nor reach floor/carpet and occassionally stops turning.

+ Best vacum cleaner Ive had, great for picking up dog hair, leaves the carpet looking clean and new.

- cord could be longer

+ Compact. Light. Good suction.

- More vacuum bags would be a good idea. Having problems sourcing any locally, so am having to use my old vacuum!!

+ Good suction, easy to manouvre, well built easy to store.

+ powerful and lighter than Miele.

- Lack of tools. And handle shorter than Miele (and too short) so have to bend to vacuum. Also mechanism for extending pole is wrong way round in my opinion as have to lean down to hold foot to extend..

+ What a great vacuum cleaner!

- Given that this cleaner has been designed to deal with pet hairs, it would be better if the rotating brush could be removed for cleaning the same way as the brush in the K3.

- Old fashioned design and quite bulky.

+ Excellent suction, leaves the air feeling cleaner. Lightweight and easy to move. Good long hose to reach stairs and ceilings.

- Cannot really empty the bag due to sealed bag to contain the dust, so just have to replace the bag when full.

- cable retraction could be better

+ It cleans up dog hairs very well; it is light and easy to use and the instructions are clear.

- The bags are expensive and it would be good if it was possible to buy a bag which could be emptied and reused.

+ Hi - its fairly light, its flexible in that you can alter power etc., it TRULY picks up the cat hairs on my daughters navy blue carpet with ease as its seems to almost float across the carpet, whereas my previous hoover (Henry!) gave me a near on heart attack with all the pushing and pulling across the whole carpet - with your hoover - its a breeze :-)

- The only bad point is the cable. I pull it out quite a bit and then it locks at that length, but then as you are moving hoover along room, its clicks out of the "hold" and then coils back into the hoover, when I dont want it to and then sometimes as I pull hoover the plug gets pulled out of socket! Bit annoying - but not a disaster!
