+ Not the trendiest of looking machines, and I thought it was expensive until I had used it, however everything about this machine ticks the boxes. Simple , effective, well engineered and it does the job. I was reluctant to get a "bagged" machine due to the cost of bags.. I used to empty my bagless machine at every use, and get covered in dust tapping out the filter each time. The Sebo has been in daily use for over a month now and I still haven't been told to empty the bag. It must compact the dirt very efficiently (I even checked the bag manually as I thought the bag empty light must be broken!). I have horses, dogs, grandchildren.. a very mucky house. The carpets have regained their youth. It is quick, thorough and I actually look forward to using it! I am a very happy purchaser and the only regret I have is that I didn't buy this machine 2 yrs ago when I bought my last vacuum cleaner. It also goes flat enough to go under our kingsize bed.. that use to be a major chore moving the bed before Sebo came.No need now. This machine feels as if it will outlive me!

- It does power itself along, so you have to hold it back when you pick up the flex to avoid running over. That is also a good point, as it feels so easy to use. I would prefer a light on the front so I can see into those dark corners to avoid hoovering coins up (though itt does have a "coin cache if you do). In all honesty, I'm still waiting to find a bad point.

+ It does what it claims to do! This is the second sebo I've had, the first one lasted nearly 20 years, two children, a house build with oodles of brick dust and mess and two dogs!

- Nope!

+ The best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned , the way it comes apart to clean is such an obvious bonus that it seems only Sebo have thought of and the automatic height adjustment it is great when you have different types of flooring .

+ Good suction on carpet & hard floor. The pet filter works, no after smell left after vacuuming the dog mat.
Feels light and is easy to push round. Had a 10 year old Sebo before this which was brilliant - this is even better.

- Cleaning attachment which is stored on handle falls off if not pushed well into clip.

+ I liked the look of the Sebo, streamlined and no odd places for dirt & dust togather in
I liked the weight of the Sebo
It has a good long lead, nice quiet motor

- the only thing is when I take the onboard extension tube out to use the main body is a bit unstable I have to hold the machine when using it.

+ Performance is excellent and is a delight to use when simply vacuuming.

- The design is somewhat archaic. Using the hose for the attachments is asking to be cracked over the head because the machine invariably topples over. The clamp that holds the brush on the handle of the machine is probably one of the most pathetic and amateurish designs I have ever seen, made even more ridiculous when you consider the price paid for the cleaner.

+ the bags and filter are very easy to change and very effective, even after vacuuming very "doggy" carpets no odour comes from bag. Easily outperforms our previous Dyson. Automaticaly adjusts the brush height as you work. The turbo brush is excellent on stairs and upholstery. No gimmicks just good solid performance. Think of it as a BMW of the vacuum world and you will not go far wrong. our 2 Labrador home has never been cleaner.

- Limited on machine tool storage, a little heavy but perhaps thats in comparison to our nasty plastic dyson

+ Performs far better than any competitor. excellent with pet hairs etc.

- Turbo brush could be designed to reach into corners such as stair tread/riser, although nozzle works well, it does not brush up small hairs etc. caught in the carpet.

+ Excellent suction and my carpets look like new and fairly light to use.

- When using the attached extension I find that the hoover can have a tendency to fall and whilst it is lovely to have the extension hose it would be nice if there were somewhere to store it. Otherwise I am delighted with my purchase.
