+ compact and handy to carry with you. easy to use. quality construction. good user manual. excellent overall per formance.

- green colours eg trees seem to "wash" when played back on larger screens such as tv. still photos do not seem as good quality as my Panasonic Lumix digital camera

+ Simple to use, excellent movie quality for the price, so portable and it can be used as a normal camera too (with built in flash). 8Gb card gives almost 2hrs of HD (720p) quality movie. Bought it for holidays, the whole family enjoy using it.

- Using it as a normal camera takes a bit of getting used too and the results are only average.

+ Very easy to set up and use. Simple to switch between movie and still photo modes. Trouble-free exchange of movies and photos with my Mac.

- Feels a bit "plasticky". Battery life could be better. Zoom speed control could be enhanced.

+ Great in low light conditions, small, light, durable, amazing video quality for the price.

- Stabilizer not so good, short battery life, needs to remove the battery in order to recharge, still-cam is bad, integrated lens cover missing.

+ Everything seems pretty good to me. It does everything they say it does. The one click still or video shooting is simplicity itself.

- Have yet to find any really bad points. Getting certain spares and accessories can be difficult. When first bought, I couldn`t get a spare battery anywhere. I finally got a substitute from Hong Kong which seems to work fine. Also, had great difficulty in locating a component lead (listed as opt. extra). Sanyo themselves finally located one for me.

+ Size and convenience, everyone was amazed at the size and handyness of the camcorder. the style is cool and it fits so easy into your pocket, it does exactly what a wanted, a camera and camcorder in one that is handy to carry around with great still pictures.

- On and off record button rather fiddley, microphone not brilliant but acceptable, it is difficult to hold still and image suffers as a result but its convenience outweighs the downside.

+ Compact and purports to take both stills and film

- Video quality is poor. Very grainy and washed out colour. As for stills, 10 megapixel sounds great but the pics are blotchy, fuzzy and very poor. I regret buying this and wish I had gone for a good quality video camera

+ Small and compact, easy to fit into your pocket when you are out and about. For an entry level user the video quality and 10 mega pixel camera is more than enough spec for what we require. We have just got back from holiday and have excellent photos and videos

+ Very pleased with the ease of use of this camera, photos are of excellent quality, better than the photos taken with my Olympus dedicated photo camera. So small and light no problems carrying it in my handbag.

- No camera bag yet available in the UK. Lens cover fiddley and cheap feel and looks.

+ Easier if you can't use your right hand, like me. Good quality images, nice looking product (espescially in the cream I've got). A very easy product to master, even for the technology phobic

- The software could be a bit more complex. But pretty satisfied otherwise.

+ Video great for the price

- Photo use is a bit week. Auto white balance inside is usualy wrong. Response time is slow. Seems to focus pretty much at random points in the scene. Having said all that, when it gets it right, the photos are very good.
