+ Great video, good quality images, HDMI out to Hi-Def televisions and a massive 10x optical zoom make this camera close to perfection (an OLED screen would have achieved this). Considering the price, this camera is fantastic value for money.

- The only thing I find, in any way, disappointing is the inability to zoom in whilst recording video. I also found it odd that I couldn't force the flash to operate. However, with the exception of taking a photo indoors on a sunny day whilst trying to include the outside view (from a height), I couldn't honestly say that this was important.

There are 2 main types of camera: The SLR and the Compact. SLR stands for Single Lens Reflex. SLR cameras use a prism to reflect the exact image as seen through the lens and so offers a more accurate viewfinder. SLR cameras have detachable lenses offering greater flexibility if you wish to take a variety of different photographs.
