- hard 2 use the key pad, not able 2 text as quick as with old phone as cant find some of the puctuation marks. Also alot of my online screens dont load!

- The camera is a bit slow and the screen is very hard to see in the sun as it seems to double as a mirror, it also scratches very easily. My was scratched up within 2 days of having it. Not very happy about that.

+ dead easy to use and the slim casen fits brill in my purse so i dont always need to take my bag with me,
its my first canera fone so i totally over the moon thank u

- set up slightly different to the other samsungs i have previously had so took a while to get used to using it.
It also hasn't got much of a memory itself without having to purchase a memory card.

+ I saw this phone on a leaflet and I thought it looked very smart and neat so I decided to buy one and I am
very pleased with my purchase my phone is brilliant not complicated like some phones can be, it is easy
to use to make calls and to send texts and tells you how many texts you have sent so you can keep an eye
on what your spending which helps me as I text a lot.

- The key pad makes crackling sounds when pressing keys when sending texts not a big problem though.

+ Easy to use, takes good pictures, battery last a while, is all good, best phone i have had.Tried different makes of phones but l always come back to Samsung.

- I have only ever had Nokia phones and am having to learn the different features on a different make of phone, this is not really a bad point but I do find Nokia phones extremely easy to navigate around, fortunately, people at work have Samsungs so am getting some help.

+ I love that when you input a number to dial the numbers appear on the screen large. The camera is great for the phone. It looks really nice and is fairly easy to use.

- I can't find simple apostrophies when typing text messages for example the ' and * signs. In hindsight I perhaps would have wanted a flip phone and I get paranoid that the screen with scratch - although a phone sock seems to help. I would have liked a carry strap - especially for when taking photos.

+ It feels good in your hand - compact but solid. The buttons have a nice feel to them. Battery life is excellent and the sound clarity is great - knock's my last phone (even though it was a samsung as well) into a cocked hat!

+ I purchased this phone after my LG KP501 had a series of problems and i was totally fed up with touch screens .
This is an attractively styled phone which sits comfortably in the hand and is a nice balanced weight .
The slide mechanism glides smoothly .
The menu is clear and easy to use .
It really is a nice phone to use and to hold .

- The battery does not last long at all .
If like myself you run on a Linux pc then you wont be able to use the software disc provided with the phone so wont be able to use it as a pc modem .
The earphones provided are very basic and for people with enormous ear cavities as i cant fit them in mine .
The ringtone volume does need to be louder .
These bad points are very small and do not in any way detract from the overall performance and attractiveness .

- The one thing what i dont like is how loud it is... When im with friends im like "here, listen to this song" and it just isent loud enough

- terrible design for texting! The space key isin a REDICULOS position if trying to txt 1 handed. The punctuation key has far too few options before having to go into another menu. The camera is the worst i've ever had . ALWAYS BLURY.Too many menus etc to go thruogh to perform a lot of functions. Genarally poorly thought out Very big & heavy, I will be unlocking my Nokia 6510 & using that instead.

+ Nice design, good screen and some useful features but too many other applications.- just wanted basic phone for ringing and texting - not as good as Nokia's but better looking phone.

- Bit long winded on text messaging - takes longer than other phones to carry out simple messaging!

+ It's a very good looking phone. It does everything I want it do do. The keypad is a decent size. The Internet is the best I have had on any phone. I haven't had any problems as such with it yet.

- If I am being really picky... It scratches quite easily, the volume could be better quality and the software could be made simpler.

+ THE SLIDE MAKES THE PHONE SAFE WHEN CLOSED AND THE KEYS CANNOT BE USED BY ACCIDENT. THE SCREEN IS CLEAR AND TEXTS ARE EASY TO READ WITHOUT MY SPECS! ACCESS TO MUSIC IS QUICK AND DOWNLOADING IS EASY FROM THE COMPUTER. ACCESS TO THE VOLUME CONTROL IS GOOD WHEN RECEIVING A CALL.

- THE INSTRUCTION BOOKLET IS POOR AND NO BETTER ACCESSING SAMSUNG WEB SITE.

Battery needs topped up everyday which cant be right need to get it looked at
