for a 22" and full HD the picture quality is great, it sets itself up which is handy.
it has 2 HDMI (xbox, dvd player), one scart and av input, oh and an input from a computer tower, plus it has freeview built in so theres less wires to fuss over. looks nice aswell with the red flash along the bottom, although you cant really see it from far back
-
ive put my tv onto a shelf in my bedroom and the speaker is at the back so the sound quality isnt that good at all, also it doesnt go that loud, especially when watching dvd's. the screen gave me a bit of a headache where it's so bright, but that can be sorted but toning it down, it put it into energy saving mode which done the trick. it takes a while to respond to the tv remote aswell which is odd, mainly on the freeview

Ample connectivity. Works well with HDMI providing excellent pictures with an HD source and generally good colour. Also makes a useful PC monitor as a second monitor via VGA. Styling is good. Sound works adequately for a smallish TV.
-
If you are positioned even slightly below the TV when viewing then loss of picture qualtiy is rapid (not uncommon with LCD TV's). TV picture adjustment needs some altering from preset options to get my desired picture.

The sound!!! yes, everyone comments on this....and yes, it is tinny/echo-like...you get used to it...try various settings...i think 'movie' sound setting is the most acceptable of the bunch (seperate speakers are a must for the purists. Don't go closer than 5 feet to view...blotchy! Digital needs a few re-bbots to get all channels you want...needs a STRONG digital signal (i don't get Channel 5).

Any scart/analogue input has pretty bad quality, the A/D converter really isn't great. Inbuilt speakers aren't very good, tinny, real lack of bass frequencies. Does the job though.

1080i resolution on this product is good, would recommend this as a second tv for the bedroom for example. It is worth playing with the settings to get the best picture I found telling the tv what was connected at the ports helped and then to reduce the backlight to 5 with the cool2 setting. I have already been telling my friends and family about this product and it is well worth the money. I would have gone for the 24" 1080p version but was very hard to get hold of.
-
The sound on the tv is not good through its own speaker/s, but I did not expected it to be. All flat screen tvs will not have great sound, as speakers need space and room. The sound is quite, I find my wife turning the tv to 50 (out of 100) to watch the movies and she does not like it loud. The other thing is that you could not look up at the tv without the picture being effect so you do need this to be tilted if you plan to install it up on the wall.

This is a brilliant TV. The picture quality is excellent. It looks very stylish and is so simple to set up, just follow the onscreen instructions and it's done in less than a minute. I have looked at lots of other brands and this is by far the best one I have come across in it's price range. I would definitely recommend it. I have been using it as a tv for the bedroom only and it has all the usual features including fast text, but it's nice to know that it can be used as a pc monitor also. The colour of the surround is lovely and quite different to most. It has a burgundy sheen to the front but the rest is all black - really cool
-
None, but if I had to be picky then I would say the sound quality may not be the best I've heard but it's more than adequate unless you are really fussy.

This TV looks beautiful either switched off or turned on. The design is stunning , i love the subtle red stripe along the bottom edge. The picture is as sharp as a button. I use this mainly as a PC monitor and it works wonderfully well as that. The connections on the back are very impressive and will suit most needs. I would reccommend this set to anyone.

The only downside is the slightly tinny sound quality but this is hardly surprising given the size of the TV. I have it connected to my surround sound amplifier so this removes that little niggle.

A comprehensive array of connection options allows SAMSUNG LCD monitors to be connected to external A / V devices. The incorporation of Component, D-Sub, DVI-D, USB 2.0 and HDMI connectors makes connection convenient and complete.
Invisible speaker system
At first glance you might think that we forgot to include the speakers, but with our innovative invisible Speaker System, they are neatly hidden within the body of the monitor in order to maintain the clean, fluid lines of the exterior. For an even more enhanced surround sound experience, the T series monitor includes
SRS Tru Surround
XTTM, a patented audio technology specifically designed for a two-speaker output system. Plus, our parametric EQ technology enables our speakers to reproduce deeper and clearer sound without distortion over the entire range of frequencies.
Lower power consumption
Power consumption is always a concern when it comes to home electronics. The T series monitor from SAMSUNG consumes only 65-70W in operation mode. Compared to other monitors, that’s a reduction of almost 30W. And with the unique SoftPower Off function, the monitor consumes a mere 0.3W when on standby. So with the T series, you can work productively at home without worrying about driving up your energy bill.
