+ The phone is very east to use. I was very happy with the camera probably the best 8 mega pixel camera phone, it has a better picture quality than the pixon or lg renoir. Very fast internet and the touch system is alot better than the original tocco. The design of the phone is very nice.
- The paint work on the back of the phone gets scratched very very easy. Battery is decent if you don't use the touch system much, it will last a day easy but will need charging at night. Apart from those two bad points it is a very nice phone and is very easy to use i would reccomend it to anyone.

+ Looks great - that is the first thing that strikes you about it, even if looks aren't everything. The touchscreen interface is up there competing with (my) ipod Touch 2G, the sensitivity is perfect for me, and the richness/depth of colour on the AMOLED screen does rather leave other screens behind. Not being keen on slide phones myself, the good thing about the Tocco Ultra is that you only have to slide the tactile keyboard down to use the camera, use the speaker phone and possibly to switch between open applications etc but I haven't tried a lot of that yet so not sure, otherwise, you don't have to meddle around trying to slide the thing open to use the phone. The 8 MP camera on board as well worth having as is the video camera - my 'stand alone' digital camera is 8 MP and there is nothing between them except maybe a stand alone camera is more practical/ergonomically designed than this handset, but that is hardly worth mentioning (even though I did). The handset is dead easy to use, with all the icons on the menu screen and the menus themselves very responsive to touch - never had a problem launching anything so far, and, importantly, haven't accidently launched anything because of icons being too close together...they're not. I've read this is a problem on other Samsung touchscreens....well, not the Tocco Ultra! Like the red but not garish tactile keypad and the red trim around the screen as it breaks up the otherwise brown-grey (a lot more attractive than it sounds!) handset, which is very solidly built, if very slippery to hold - terrified I'm going to drop it! Most solid handset I've ever owned. Have yet to set up email, but web browsing is good - as I am in a 3G+ area, it's fast. Whether wirelessness would have been faster still, I don't know. Moving a web page around the screen, dragging it with your finger, is not bad at all - seems a tad slow sometimes. All in all, if your're into style/the latest thing coupled with immesnse functionality, don't know which web phone (if that's what they're called) to get, the Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition is the one!

Okay, there are no bad points really. However.....
Considering it's a phone to browse the web, the screen might have been a a few mm's bigger all round, but then the handset would be bigger, I guess, and I think it's just the right size. The only 'real' bad point, as with so many phones, is the battery life. Sometimes it seems to last quite well, others, it seems to go down before your eyes. Web browsing, obviously, does rather bleed it as does shooting/viewing video. But, hey, it's not so difficult to charge it up every other day now is it? Unless your in a cave somewhere on a frequent basis. The standby time seems pretty good at least, and I charge it maybe twice a week through not-too-heavy-use. Any way, that's the last and only real bad point, just don't let it put you off!

+ Full touch screen and when I need it the option to use a numeric keypad...Best of both worlds!
- None really......A great all round phone!

+ stylish looks, brilliant camera and easy to use
- battery needs charging about every three days I suppose its because of the amount of software and gadjets

+ Very beautiful phone, very stylish and a nice screen. The menus are well laid out and it has great multimedia features. The phone features are also top quality as it has a great contacts system, the mic and speaker are very clear and the 3g system is excellent. A really nice phone that no other compares to.
- Touch screen is aweful. After owning an iTouch you are fully aware of how responsive a good touch screen is and this isn't a good one. It just doesn't respond unless you really press carefully and its not easy to use. Its also very slow as if you were to enter a word and then press space you'll find you've got wrong and missing letters as well as no space. It also stops scrolling when you take your finger off, which is just wasted momentum. Its a fantastic phone and is very stylish and the quality of the screen is fantastic, its just the touch system that lets it down.

+ An excellent easy to use handset that looks amazing and has a fantastic camera.
- As with most touch screen phones you can press buttons by mistake but the lock button is extremely easy to use and an essential feature.

+ This phone has many great features, the camera is fantastic and is very well designed.
- The only thing i can say bad about this phone is, its a bid hard to see the display in the sunshine but hey most phones are.

+ Its a real easy phone to use, Samsung have put alot of effort into its design and function and this phone really does them proud.
-
Sometimes the touch screen can be too sensitive so if the phone is in your pocket for some time you may find you have access the internet without realising.
Solution is.....make sure the screen locks out before doing anything with it.

+ Really nice clear screen, excellent camera and looks beautiful.
- Screen could be more responsive, the software is poor compared to mobiles. When texting the layout of keys is awkward making it uncomfortable to hold.

+ GOOD CAMERA,LOOKS GOOD,
- NO WI-FI, T9 PREDICTIVE TEXT IS COMPLICATED IF U PUT A COMMA ON THE END OF SOME WORDS IT CHANGES THE WORD COMPLETELY.

+ I love this phone and so far have no complaints about it. It is easy to use and having the keypad makes texting so much easier than a normal touch phone. The music quality is really good, the camera is excellent with great editing features and it also looks really good too!!!
- None that I can find!!
purchased 15 Apr 2009
+ The phone looks great and the touchpad is incredibly easy to use.
- The battery is good if you don't use the phone but does not last very long if you use the phone as a music player and phone.

+ Great slim design, the Koreans definitely know how to make their phones appeal to the fashion market! Nice colour, not too heavy.
- The software is a bit jerky, when scrolling through contacts it gives off the vibrations that means the screen should be scrolling but it isn't. The battery only lasts 1 day, and that's only making 1 short call of about 2 minutes, sending about 20 - 30 sms and going on facebook 3 - 4 times. The T9 dictionary is dreadful, it's not intelligent like on other phones, if you put a word in, that word is then ALWAYS the first suggestion, every time I type "let" it now comes up with "Kev" instead of learning that I always scroll through to let, it just doesn't learn, very frustrating!
