+ Great looking, value for money American style freezer.

- the unit is so airtight that you have to hold both doors when opening, otherwise the entire fridge freezer moves.

+ Our first American style fridge freezer and I love it - the size, the handle bar used to open it is comfortable to use, plenty of shelves and trays. Visually great. Useful longer than average light in the back of the fridge to light up more than just the top shelf.

- Freezer compartment could be better with more trays in place of the shelves so you can pack more into it.

+ Good looking and effective for the price.

- A little noisy

+ We opted for the model without the automatic ice maker and are very happy we did. When you have the ice maker it tkaes away so much of the freezer storage and this model has built in ice trays which are easy to dump and store and we still have LOTS of room! Because of this and many other features we are very happy with this purchase.

- The doors can be hard to open, especially when your hands are full but I guess I rather that that being too easy to open. Also there was some blue tape lining on the drawers when it came new which we cannot get off and they tend to stick a little but to be honest if these are our only issues we have done very well.

+ Thr fridge section has a good amount of capacity

- the shelves do not hold the weight of the frozen food and there is not enough space to hold that much food. When looking at the freezer section appears larger than it actually is.

- Bottom drawer in the fridge always falls out unless there is heavy weight holding it down.

- Makes a funny noise sometimes, like ice defrosting (must be automatic de-froster). Door shelves sometimes fall out.

+ A great fridge/freezer. Quiet, well proportioned, easy to use and keep clean. Even when we had a 6 hour power cut, it kept its temperature! The only improvement I could recommed, would be removable baskets to sit on the shelves of the freezer, to help with storage of packets of items.

+ Simple, but thought through design intenally that is very use friendly. Flexible shelves and racks, easy to move about and clean. Roomy drawers in fridge. The flexible ice system means that I can maximise freezer capacity when I need to, rather than it being plumbed into the freezer door and taking up lots of valuable storage space. Externally, it looks stylish too. The cooling system seems very efficient, both in the fridge and freezer.

- The drawers can be a little awkward to remove (for cleaning).

+ The capacity is good and it is easy to see everything inside both the fridge and freezer sections, although I would have liked a hanging wine-rack in the fridge.

+ Love the stylish look with the full length handles. Not having the drinks dispenser with the big ice box inside gives a fair bit more room in the freezer. Nice clean layout inside.

- Not enough space to hold milk and other things in the door. There would actually be space for another shelf, which would be useful.

+ Good storage capacity. The lack of ice/water on tap means the freezer is of a good size. Interior lighting very effective

- Shelving in fridge could be better - something to hold wine bottles flat for example

+ More shelves in the fridge than some similar products. No bulky water/ice disensers that just take up useable interior space - less of that nonsense means more space for your food. Very nice finish to the outside - the sides are the same material as the front, which is good if the fridge is going to be positioned someplace where the sides are visible.

- All fridges of this style are so big they can become the major feature of your kitchen. There are cheaper alternatives if you could live with plastic sides or one shelf less. There are much cheaper alternatives if you stick to the old tall-and-thin style. I'm not convinced there's actually that much more shelf area than my old fridge, (but there's definitely more volume, and it's easier to see what's there).

+ Well spaced out inside and neat design outside ,it fits in well with a modern kitchen.Also the temp. settings being at the front are ideal as any problems it would be noticed at once.Also it is very easy to move out if required.

- From our point of view and some friends it would be better if the fridge and freezer space was split evenly.We stock up the freezer and a little more space would be handy.

+ I like the fact that I can see immediately the temperatures for both the fridge and the freezer. The ice cube storage is easy and practical for ejecting the ice. There is a warning signal if the door is left open.

- I can't think of any, apart from it does take a bit of getting used to in the kitchen, being so large.

+ Good solid build quality.Easy to move around with its castor wheels. Digital temperature display is a good plus both initially to see that the machine got to its required temperature and for keeping an eye on, on a daily basis.The alarm system is also a good idea when the door is left open. I also like the bright internal lighting inside the fridge.

- Not enough allowance for variation in shelving - bad design point which would not have cost anything extra to have been implemented, especially at the base of the fridge. Freezer compartment would have been better with drawers rather than open edged shelves.

+ Easy for my disabled wife to see all contents. Good freezing capacity. Vegetables seem to keep for a much longer time than in our older, more traditional refridgerators.

- Not a serious point but the door shelves tend to lift out easily when larger items are being removed from them.

- The motor makes a lot of noise and it seems to be on most of the time. It is much noisier than any fridge/freezer I have previously owned.

- It doesn't make a load of noise but more noise than the much smaller fridge we replacd and than I expected. The freezer is bigger than many we looked at but could be even better with just a little more room.

+ Very quiet. I have seen complaints on the web about how noisy it is. Well all I can say is that it's a darn sight quieter than our previous Admiral fridge and is also a lot quieter than the flurescent lighting in our kitchen. It is easy to see what temperatures it is on, both the fridge and the freezer, and to alter these. However, we have only had it a month or so, so cannot speak for the long term. Our Admiral lasted almost 15 years, but I'm told not to expect that from modern fridges. The lighting is nice.

- Like most fridges the door containers aren't that well made and one of them tends to come out when I remove a milk bottle from it.

- The freezer door shelving could be a little more secure, we find that they can be knocked off if bending down to get something from the bottom of the freezer when you stand up and the door isn't fully open. The entire unit could be a little taller

+ Good looking piece of kit (for a fridge/freezer :-)), plenty of space in the fridge, and a reasonable amount of space in the freezer especially as no drinks dispenser taking up space. I was slightly worried about other reviews saying it is noisy - it's not - it makes as much noise as you would expect a fridge freezer to make - do not be worried. Brilliant that you can accurately control the temperature with the digital controls - funky green LED display too that looks kinda cool.

- Small point - the shelves in the doors are loose fitting, so I have had on ONE occasion the shelf fall to the floor when I grabbed the milk out the fridge. I learnt quickly though and am just a bit more careful. For clarity the shelves do REST very securely in their place.

+ Design is excellent. Appearance is very contemporary.Simple digital display. Simple operational instructions. Access and compartmentation are very practical. Interior lighting is to a high lux level. Excellent value for money.

+ Interior lighting in both the fridge and freezer is excellent making it good and bright, the fridge bottom drawers are very well designed to accommodate plenty of fresh veg and salad.
Clear shelves give a nice clean look to the interior.
The ice drawer in the freezer is a great way to hold a supply of ice rather than having just a couple of trays at a time.
The egg tray is a great size and capacity.
The door alarm is a good reminder and should prevent over loading the freezer to the point where the door doesn't close properly.

- The egg tray is too high and the shelves have no height adjustment.
The door racks are very widely spaced when only holding short items like juice cartons, space for an additional rack would be better.

+ The best point is that you can independently set the temperature of both fridge and freezer in degrees. The appearance of the stainless doors is great too.

- The shelves in the doors are loose fitting, so you have to be a little carefull not to dislodge them as the contents end up on the floor, also needs a wine rack, but that can be ordered I believe.

+ I love this fridge freezer! When you first open it up it doesn't look very big inside however once you start filling it up you realise it's huge. We had two fridges and a freezer before which we filled every shoppping day, it all fits inside the samsung with room to spare.
It also looks really good, not plasticky like some of the other styles do.
