- usb cable didnt come with the printer so i had to purchase it seperately

Score 9.0/10+ The machine is compact and very light (Samsung has deliberately been reducing the weight of its products). It is quick and easy to set up and does everything I want it to. I thought I was taking a risk, buying such an inexpensive model, but I'm glad I did, and I am very satisfied with it.
- The model comes without a USB cable, and it also has no dustguard to fit over the papertray. However, I already had a spare USB cable, and the lack of dustguard is of little consequence. For such a low priced printer, I can't expect everything. Its functions and performance are very satisfactory, which is all I am interested in.

Score 8.0/10+ The size and colour. It blends in well with my furniture. It is more than adequate for my purposes. It's quick and easy to use. There's an obvious improvement from my earlier printer ML-1610 which I use in my office and with which I remain very happy.

I have no complaints to make about the printer.

Really fast!!
Has a function which allows you to save on toner if you don't need publishing quality.

Paper cavity open to dust.
No proper receptacle to catch printed sheets, so they often fall off the device.

- need to keep an eye on the paper when it comes out - if i am printing a bit off as it isn't very well supported

Very good price from Tesco, good print quality and speed. Had a small hitch installing drivers but this was easy and quick to rectify. A quick search of the internet found several reasonably cheap toner refill suppliers.
Overall 9 1/2 out of 10.
- Minor point - the on/off switch is hidden at the back.
