I have a large sitting room and my eye sight is not all that good but this tele enables me to watch all my programs uith ease.
The quality of picture is so good is good I have no trouble viewing at all

+ i would definately recomend this tv its a great colour was a bit worried when i ordered it as ive always had black tv's but it looks so stylish the sound is superb havent got any issues with it at all! and it states that there is only 1 scart when in fact there are 2 scarts a the back of the tv love the fact that the tv's on a swivel base my son has a samsung and his hasnt got a swivel base so i think this is a new better feature! we have now got sky hd and it brings out the tv's true potential! excellent picture its like looking through a window everything is so clear its fantastic!
- I found when we first got the tv that the picture wasnt as good as my 32" toshiba that it was replacing and i was really disapointed but it seems the more you use the tv the better the picture has become and its now perfect!

+ Great looking tv with innovative and very different use of colour (red). SD pictures are very good and HD fantastic. Plenty of HDMI connections and also a useful USB .
- Sound quality is not good. USB reader is complicated to use to view pictures.

+ Excellent picture quality for most transmissions, no judder or delay on moving objects. Can't comment on sound as set up through surround sound system. Very easy to set up, despite only having cable connections and no aerial due to bad reception. Easy to fix to wall fixings, overall very happy with TV
- Can see pixels on adverts.

Well designed, mid range television with ample connections.
Easy to install (good plug & play setup) with comprehensive on screen menu's.
Overall very well pleased by this good looking and good value TV.

One important point which in itself is not bad, but will cause much head scratching is the ommision of instructions on changing from digital to analogue tuners. This is done simply by holding down the " 1 " button untill the display toggles between Nicam Stereo & " DTV ".
The other obvious downside common to most flat screen TV's is the relatively poor sound caused by the lack of speaker room, however the many connections allow the audio to be routed to a home cinema etc. The actual signal from the TV is excellent quality

+ Large screen. Adequate sound quality and volume for a typical living room. From my knowledge of acoustics it appeaars to produce as much sound from the rear of the TV as it does from the front due to the downward facing speakers. I therefore suppose that placing it against or near a wall or surface which causes the rearward sound to reflect and increase the overall volume would be most ideal. in short best placed against a reflective wall, to sound louder. I did need to alter the sound equalisation settings to the 'Music' one, which I found to be the most suitable for speech and music in my own environment. It was also not too difficult to change the sound settings to mute the electronic tunes that accompany turning on and turning off this TV, which could be annoying. In general not a bad TV, this being my first flat panel TV. If this is your first digital TV, the clarity of close up images of faces, took a while to get used to, especially when contrasted with the apparent lack of detail of objects out of focus, which unfortunately brought out the flaws of digital television. In old analog TV's, the variation between the focused image and the background was not as distinct with an easier gradation of the image. I guess this smooth transition is more difficult to achieve with discrete image pixels as found on an LCD TV. This happens when you watch the news or a film, especially where the focus is on human faces which come out quite sharp and the background is more blurred that you would prefer. On the other hand, maybe digital TV is showing the Picture as it is !. Over time, you get used to this. For the price, it provides a good range of options for altering the picture and sound to suit personal preferences.
- It took a while(about 4 days) to learn how to set up the aspect ratio on the TV, so that when I change channels on my cable receiver(Virgin Media), the TV automatically adjusts it's aspect to the signal on that channel. This is probably the most important adjustment nto make on any TV. Yes on some content, the auto adjustment may remove a bit of the top or bottom of the picture, but at least human beings, especially faces look real, and that is in general my preferred setting For me I like seeing human faces, in the proper aspect ratio, and find it quite discomforting to have had to change this every time I changed the channel. Glass surface of stand and TV screen attracts dust. but I guess this is the penalty for any smooth surface, and I dont think this would be peculiar to this TV. Dust issue probably made more prominent caused by regular use of vacuum cleaner in a carpeted lounge room. On the positive side, a duster is provided with the product. Due to the blurring of background images which are out of focus, and the slight fizziness, I would not recommend this for sports enthusiasts who need performance to match their fast action. Ultimately your eyes get used to this within a few days. i.e if you have the money to spare and you love football or any other fast moving sport, choose something with a higher refresh rate. For the average user the refresh rate is fine. The stand was not fixed eactly at perpendicular angles and this had to be adjusted a bit to get this absolutely perfect.

Its a lovely tv with a swivel base so you can turn it in which ever direction needed.
I love the fact it has a pc connection as i mainly use it for this purpose.
- this isnt really a bad point but there is an annoying tune played when you turn it on and off. And as there are no buttons you cant turn the tv of in the dark!
